I turned on our porch light the night of October 5, 2024, to attract moths and other insects. Our mailbox is right beneath the light, and when I opened the lid, this little ant-mimic jumping spider, Synemosyna formica, was in a silken retreat inside. At first I thought she was a tiny wasp, so she still fooled me. Leavenworth, Kansas, USA.
