I'm making a new logo plate for my latest amp prototype. I acid etch brass to do this.
Here's the plate with the scale cleaned off. It's all ready to paint now.
Still not a perfect etching, but cleaner than last time. I'm getting better at this. BTW, this is after 24 hours in the ferric chloride.
A fool and his Fool's Gold are seldom parted.

I was in Cardiff centre again today and a crowd had gathered around a wardrobe that was in the shopping precinct. A man in a straight jacket went into the wardrobe and the lady in the centre locked him in. Without giving the game away, the lady is now being told it is all part of a TV series called fool Brittania to be shown in the autumn. The chap with the D3 and 70-200mm lens is a local newspaper photographer.
And a long Bird of Paradise's tail-
