Nom : Ancient Dragon (Ancien Dragon)
Difficulté : 19/20
Nombre total d'étapes : 410
Papier utilisé : papier rouge métallisé 35x35 centimètres
Auteur du diagramme : Satoshi KAMIYA
Titre du livre : Works of Satoshi KAMIYA
Description :

Name: Ancient Dragon

Total number of steps: 410
Paper used: metallized paper 13.8x13.8 inches

Description:
There I made again the Satoshi's Ancient Dragon with a metallized red paper 13.8x13.8 inches. The only problem with this paper, unlike origamido paper, is that the folds on thick layers crackles the metallized layer and reveal the white support-layer.
As this is the third time I make it, I learn by doing and now I spend less and less time to make it: it took me 2 hours (two to three time less than the 2 above)

This is how I set my M3023s on my sunglass stands, semi-folded.
The reason is the one thing I don't like about MOST sunglasses; they tend to force one or the other temple to bend out of the way when you try to fold them up completely.
Most Oakleys don't have this problem - because their temples point at a downward angle when folded. So it's results as a natural "X" whereas most temples tend to be parallel to each other.

This was published in 1963, and I love that inside the front it has my grandma's name as well as my late aunt's name. We've had it as long as I can remember...
A Harlequin ladybird at the point of take-off. The wing cases (elytra) are raised and the wings unfold. Recent research in Japan has revealed that the wings are folded under the elytra in a complex, origami-type pattern. They are flexible enough to allow several folds but strong enough to spring open once the elytra are raised. The whole process, from normal, elytra closed living style, to take-off occurs in a split-second.

But this design was made for a laser cutting machine.
So I changed the design for a CNC machine and addes some improvements: A DIN A6 version, a pencil holder, improved clamp and changed the position of the rubber band slot.

I'm not sure where we acquired this folding wooden ruler from. Probably from when we cleared out one of our parents' homes. I'm pretty sure we didn't buy it.
