I just came across this outtake from several months back and it struck me as being pretty cool. So, I decided to post it.

This is how I set my M3023s on my sunglass stands, semi-folded.
The reason is the one thing I don't like about MOST sunglasses; they tend to force one or the other temple to bend out of the way when you try to fold them up completely.
Most Oakleys don't have this problem - because their temples point at a downward angle when folded. So it's results as a natural "X" whereas most temples tend to be parallel to each other.
HY on our ride around the Tseung Kwan O / Po Lam region. She decided on this one purely because it was pink and later regretted not choosing one for comfort.
Another pastel I did, it was a pretty tricky still-life, but I like how it turned out. The folds were really fun!
Fold the cuff down over the coat sleeve, so that the finished side of the leather is outside on the outside of the sleeve, wraps around the end, and lines the inside of the cuff.
Latest obsession. Folded books. I'm thinking about calling the series "Folded Leaves". Maybe I should open an etsy shop called "Out of the Best Books" and feature art made from the pages of books.

Why do people have to fold the page of a book to mark theur place? Surley there must be some scrap of paper at hand to use as a bookmark!
(End of my short rant.)
I held a series of three sessions at KPF NY demonstrating severals ways to transform a flat single sheet of paper into a complex form. I demonstrated folds that used both standard origami techniques (square paper, no cutting) and more modern approaches (laser-cut and -scored curves). The square forms date back to the Bauhaus movement and I was inspired by the work I did for Erik and Marty Demaine when choosing the shapes of the curved forms. Special thanks also to Alex Soijka who helped with the video.
