This is how I set my M3023s on my sunglass stands, semi-folded.
The reason is the one thing I don't like about MOST sunglasses; they tend to force one or the other temple to bend out of the way when you try to fold them up completely.
Most Oakleys don't have this problem - because their temples point at a downward angle when folded. So it's results as a natural "X" whereas most temples tend to be parallel to each other.
This was published in 1963, and I love that inside the front it has my grandma's name as well as my late aunt's name. We've had it as long as I can remember...

A belated Happy Feathery Friday!
It's Saturday morning here in the South Pacific, but I know it's still Friday for most of you. I've posted a pic before of this little African Scops Owl in the Kruger Park, but really liked the light and plumage in this one. Also, through the fork in the branches, you can see the feathers on the sides of the head that are often seen upright when these owls are awake, folded down in this instance

Envelopes folded in the year 2010
The envelope model is my very first hand folded envelope/letterfold named. Its Elder brother is bigger was developed later and is also displayed in this set.
Do your dogs 'fold' their paws too when lying in wait?

I'm not sure that folding is the right verb, but Erik's work is on computational origami and folding (he is an extraordinary person).
Photos from the making of Folded.
Folded is a live audio visual stage performance co produced by SDNA (UK) and Ticonzero (Italy).
It is the first chapter of an artistic research which aims to investigate the interaction of various live media and the integration of different artistic languages: audio visual, sculpture, fashion, physical performance and theatrical process.
The performance is divided into 8 parts (the maximum number of times paper can be folded) and explores the physical and metaphysical properties and potentials of paper.
Paper is the starting point for all of the artists. The costume, designed by Cabinet of Curiosity using origami techniques, is made out of paper, all of the visuals are filmed events or animations derived from paper and Alessandro's music is composed using sounds of paper.
The performer, Nina Fog, plays a creature born from paper who constantly transforms herself, reinventing her corporeality.
“With Folded I am exploring the sensations of being written upon (by sound, image, costume, space); being invented and - at the same time - being erased. The constant cycle of living and dying makes me only a momentary creature in a fragment of time - I aim to be in the pure of state of existing from moment to moment”. Nina Fog
Coproduction: SDNA (UK) + TiconZero (Italy)
Concept, direction and video design: Valentina Floris, Ben Foot
Music: Alessandro Olla
Performer: Nina Fog
Costumes: Cabinet of Curiosity

The Blue Folding Chair is great for a nautical theme. It is also a popular school color. Whatever your event theme, this chair is available for quantities of up to 1500.
The composition is a little tighter than I'm used to. I kind of like it. Really had to rework the colors in post.
Withnell Fold is a village off the beaten track. It's partial obscurity is due to not being on a 'through road'. It takes it's name from the nearby farm of Withnell Fold which has a date stone of 1736. However the building of the village wasn't started until 1843/44 to house mill workers. The building of a 'Paper Mill' was started by Thomas Blinkhorn Parke in 1843 and the first paper was produced in 1844.
