I arrived about 5 minutes after sunset along Middle River ... on a very humid evening. The lens immediately fogged over. After five minutes of extensive "blower" action on the lens was able to clear about 2/3 ... the edges were still fogged over some. The results were pretty cool I think.
I went to visit my daughter this morning. The river valley was quite foggy and I took this in Gardiner with the mostly frozen Kenebec River on the left. HBM I did not intend such a small image. See a larger one here.
City fog in early fall with a light rain falling. This morning was not my morning for taking good photos :(
A prolongrd fog and freezing temperatures left a thick coating of frost on the trees along Point Woronzof Road besides runway 15/33 at ANC.
Saturday morning it was plenty foggy out and for once I decided to get out early and try for some fog shots. As I drove up to this location I thought a train would be pretty cool through the fog. I stuck around for about 20 minutes and sure enough I heard the train whistle in the distance. With my finger on the shutter button, I waited for the headlights to get in just the right spot between the poles and then..................*snap*.
Got the shot :-)
Have a great week everyone!!

Derive happiness in oneself from a good day's work, from illuminating the fog that surrounds us.

I should have gone out couple of hours earlier today. The fog descended before I was five minutes down the road.
This shot was from The Pinnacle Lookout in Orange on a very misty morning, after a steep hike up up to the Lookout..
Witte wieven... one minute, I could see fairly far, and the next I was literally blinded in the fog... the winds kept blowing it away and back again...
