Fog covered the area in the evening and by the next morning, it was so dense you couldn't see a car with lights on at the end of the block. Taken on Pleasant Run Parkway in Irvington.

The fishing village of Steveston is at the mouth of the Fraser River. At one time there were many canneries here. Now people prefer their fish to be fresh so the canneries no longer operate. However, two of them have been converted to museums.
Another beautiful summer day in the city, where the August fog reminds visitors that San Francisco is not like anywhere else in California.
Fog can be a photographers dream when it cooperates, while simultaneously wreaking havoc on the shorts & tshirt tourist crowd expecting warm, sunny California days. On this particular afternoon, I was driving past the Golden Gate Bridge on my way home, and noticed that the fog bank was very dense just above the deck, but somewhat clear on the deck level. I pulled out the camera, walked out onto the pedestrian lane of the bridge, and proceeded to shoot 20 or so photographs - the fog is changing constantly, so I required a bit of luck to capture this one. No post processing here other than a small crop. One of those rare times when everything works out.
My favorite part of the photo is how the the South Tower is barely visible, just enough to bring some depth to the shot. One person who saw this shot likened it to a "ghost", which captures the idea perfectly.

The sunset burn w/low fog was predicted by Yiupai sunrise/sunset forecast service.
Fog and colour season is starting to set in! I woke up for sunrise last weekend and despite not getting the light I was hoping for, I was still spoiled with some nice fog and capture this shot of a little lonly tree in the middle of a field. This is a little different than what I usually shoot but felt inspired by Thomas Heaton and his minimalistic style.

A Rare whitebow or fog bow in a field just outside Penryn, Cornwall
Stunning to look at and damn difficult to capture
This 15 second exposure made sure i had enough light coming in through my 10 stop whilst ensuring the fog which was pretty thick was not blowing the highlights
As with all my images i am happy to talk about licensing or printed copies
