Very lucky to capture this early in the morning, it only hung around for a few minutes. If you look closely you will see it's a double rainbow.

Hutt Street, located in Adelaide, Australia, is one of the main streets in the city center. Stretching 1.1 km, it is known for its historic charm and welcoming atmosphere. It was designed in 1835 as part of the city's original plan by William Light and named after Sir William Hutt, a Colonization Commissioner. The street features heritage buildings, restaurants, pubs, and local businesses, making it a popular destination for residents and tourists. Additionally, it is home to the Hutt St Centre, a charity supporting homeless individuals. Its green streetscape and blend of colonial and modern architecture make it a unique spot in Adelaide.

The Historic Arkaba Woolshed was built in 1856 and was used as a depot shed for the surrounding properties. The original corrugated iron roof is still on the building to this day, along with the ‘kit-form’ roof struts which were shipped over from Oregon, USA. Back in the blade shearing days it was a 40 stand shed but now, with electric wide combs, it is a five stand shed. Still to this day you will find names etched on the stone wall of shearers gone, dating from today right back to the late 1800s. (ref: www.arkabaconservancy.com/)

Warren Gorge is an absolutely glorious spot in the Southern Flinders Ranges just outside Quorn. The walking trail takes a scenic route around the gorge, with native pine trees the highlight of the first half.
Kanyaka Station was a cattle and sheep station established by Hugh Proby in 1852 in the Flinders Ranges. The name of the station is taken from the Aboriginal word thought to mean Place of Stone.

For the many years I was a Greyhound bus driver back in the late 1980s, this wonderful view featured on many of the long distance runs I did. It was magical day or night.
I decided to use B/W in this image as the day was dull, the roads wet, and this was one of the views while we were driving those ranges.

This shot is taken from the exact same location at Stokes Hill Lookout featured in my previous post of Wilpena Pound. This view is aimed about 90 degrees to the right and with the longer lens, shows the ever receding layers of the Flinders Ranges to the north.
