Thanks for my friend Emilie who gave me the idea to offer Tarot cards for trade. She collects "Death" Tarot cards. Even if you don't know anything about Tarot or collect any specific cards, Victoria Francés is an amazing artist and these Tarot cards are beautiful.
I took this funny picture of my kids (ages 9 and 5 at the time) in a pile of leaves by filling extra pairs of jeans with leaves and strategically placing them to look as though they had their legs over their shoulders. Luckily my kids are usually very willing subjects for my photography whims! :)

I'm trying new things. Not just with my photography, but at school, too. New sports. Taking risks, testing my limits, and maybe even embarrassing myself. It seems my limits are being reached, though. I can't feel my legs anymore..

The Flexible Flyer was patented by Samuel L. Allen in 1889 and was the first steerable sled. The steel runners on this sled were slender enough that they could turn the sled when the rider pulled on the steering arm. Allan convinced two major department stores, Wanamacker’s and Macy’s to sell his Flexible Flyers, and by 1915 he was selling approximately 2,000 a day. By the end of 1916, even Island newspapers like the The Charlottetown Guardian were advertising these popular sleds. Allen’s company continued to produce the Flexible Flyer until the company was sold in 1960.
