Flex can be classified as a humanist sans-serif, sharing proportions and structure with typefaces from the Renaissance period. This gives Flex an open and warm appearance. On the other hand has Flex a low contrast, and is devoid of ornamentation and unnecessary details. Each shape in Flex is ‘down to earth’ and drawn in the most logical way possible.
These two aspects combined make Flex a friendly, no-nonsense typeface family.

With distinctive "cyclops" styling, the Petri Flex 7 was quite up-to-date in having a shutter- and aperture-coupled CdS light meter. (The Miranda Automex III was one competitor, but the Petri's list price was almost 25% lower.)

The Bombardier Flexity 2 tram was ungoing clearance tests for the new platforms between Little Bispham and Fishermans Walk / Ash Street. People onboard the tram included members of Her Majesty's Railway Inspectorate (HMRI), along with staff from Bombardier, Blackpool Council and Lancashire County Council. High spped (70 kph) and braking tests were also carried out between Starr Gate and the Pleasure Beach. This was only the second time that the tram had ventured north of Little Bispham, the first time occasion two days earlier Wednesday afternoon 16 November.

Front suspension fully flexed, and back about 3/4 of the way to the bump stops. Coil sprung live axles are the ONLY way to build a nice flexible 4WD!

Flotę stanowią 62 niskopodłogowe 40-metrowe tramwaje Bombardier Flexity Outlook pierwszej i drugiej generacji oraz czterech 19-metrowych tramwajów Bombardier Flexity Outlook Mountainrunner, które są modyfikacją zaprojektowaną specjalnie dla funkcjonującej w Linzu linii Pöstlingbergbahn oznaczonej numerem 50.

Horse tram in Linz was inaugurated in 1880, the line was electrified in 1897. Currently there are 5 day and 2 night lines, total track length is 30 km (900 mm gauge), 2 km of which is underground passing the railway station. The fleet consists of 62 40-metre-long low-floor Bombardier Flexity Outlook trams of the first and the second generation and 4 19-metre Bombardier Flexity Outlook Mountainrunner trams which are a special design for Pöstlingbergbahn line No. 50.
