#92 - 100 x challenge - Lensbaby
A mix of real and fabric pumpkins (I made these last October), a coffee and a couple of mice and starfish thrown in the mix just to match the colour scheme. I just wasn't feeling it today but had it in my mind that I was going to use pumpkins...well, you have to in October don't you?

Day 71/365:
A quick flat lay again today. I'll be back tomorrow to catch up with some commenting, my grandson is here for a sleepover.
As it's almost Easter I thought I'd get my Easter wreath out and since I didn't have any other ideas for a photo...here it is along with a coat hook I bought ages ago but haven't put up yet, some pigeon eggshells and a few other bits and bobs.

I thought I'd use the crown that I made yesterday for today's photo too...waste not want not. I always like to get more than one use from a prop, especially if it's one i've made.
Day 150/365:
Back in the swing of the flat lay again although this could be the last for a while. But I do like to make the most of my flowers.
Crazy Tuesday - theme of April 6th, 2021: Knolling
Knolling is the process of arranging different objects so that they are at 90 degree angles from each other, then photographing them from above.

This theme was waaaaay out of my comfort zone: When it comes to photography I prefer creative chaos, shallow depth of field and bokeh madness ... here you won't find any of that ; ))
All these items belonged to my dad who was a craftsman and loved to collect model cars ...
The big - massive metal - one is a VW Karmann Ghia, 1967 ... and it now has a new home in my home office : ))

Knolling ist der Prozess, verschiedene Objekte so zu arrangieren, dass sie in einem 90-Grad-Winkel zueinander stehen, und sie dann von oben zu fotografieren.

Weekly Theme (Week 21) Flat Lay
Strawberries bring back memories of my childhood, I don't know if it's because of their sweetness or their beauty
I found three more today! They had some imperfections but nothing Photoshop couldn't assist with; afterall, it is the end of the season for them. To find them I had to walk among the long grasses around the edge of our field. It took me a few minutes to spot them, but there they were, huddled together waving in the wind.

This backdrop and music sheet were still out from yesterday's flat lay so I worked around that for today as I'm short of time. Title from some of the words under the magnifying glass.

Day 149/365:
This is the first time in a while that I've had the time or inclination to do a flat lay.
These flowers are from a bouquet that my son and daughter-in-law bought me as part of an early birthday present.

I managed to get hold of a little pumpkin for a seasonal flat lay. The red oak leaves were in my flower delivery today and the letter tiles are from my craft stash.

I am stating some of my intentions for the year, starting with reading actual books and not just listening to audiobooks. Another goal is to clean out the boxes, jars, vases, and bottles of dried flowers and leaves that I have kept over the years. They have all degraded so that it's time to let them go. I'm so glad I keep so many of my flowers once they have dried out...always come in handy, especially when I can't think of anything else.

Another of my recent acquisitions is this vintage silver berry spoon...who knew there was such a thing? So I thought a rather grand spoon deserved its own photo. Apologies if the title made you groan ;)
This beautiful book was a birthday gift from a friend. Of course I had to use it in a flat lay.
