I sifted cornflour over this tiny star cookie cutter then moved it around a bit to make some fainter star shapes. Now off to clear up the mess. HMM

Net echt, geen zorgen, zelfs het 'Stanley'mes is van plastic!
As it's almost Easter I thought I'd get my Easter wreath out and since I didn't have any other ideas for a photo...here it is along with a coat hook I bought ages ago but haven't put up yet, some pigeon eggshells and a few other bits and bobs.
I added some textures (my own)
I collected on request;
"Do you have (plastic, glass wood, no matter) christmas balls large or small, figure shapes necklaces garlands, kitsch baking tins. But also McDonalds or other dolls & animals, supermarkt action tricks and other rarities that you no longer use, incomplete, ugly, childish or broken ..."

I was a bit desperate for an idea today and didn't even think about it being Valentine's day tomorrow when I grabbed some of my hearts for a simple flat lay.

What else was I going to call a random collection of things thrown together? The asters appeared in another flat lay (while they were alive).
Day 72/365:
My grandson stayed for a sleepover last night...well, more of an over as there was very little sleep involved, he is a very bad sleeper. So after three hours zzz this is all I could come up with and the items aren't as straight as I'd like so I gave it an edit with some light leaks to distract from the wonkiness! Still in the game though...just, but seriously wondering why I am putting myself through this.
Please don't feel the need to comment as I really need to take some time out and just hit a few stars in lieu of comments.

#92 - 100 x challenge - Lensbaby
A mix of real and fabric pumpkins (I made these last October), a coffee and a couple of mice and starfish thrown in the mix just to match the colour scheme. I just wasn't feeling it today but had it in my mind that I was going to use pumpkins...well, you have to in October don't you?

Another of my recent acquisitions is this vintage silver berry spoon...who knew there was such a thing? So I thought a rather grand spoon deserved its own photo. Apologies if the title made you groan ;)

I'm so glad I keep so many of my flowers once they have dried out...always come in handy, especially when I can't think of anything else.
Day 149/365:
This is the first time in a while that I've had the time or inclination to do a flat lay.
These flowers are from a bouquet that my son and daughter-in-law bought me as part of an early birthday present.
………A saying my Dad often said which sprang to mind whilst taking this weeks ’Smile on Saturdays’ picture - ‘Flat Lay’. Five Runner Beans from the garden laying in wait - Sunday dinner will be their final destination along with a few more of their friends. A rushed job today...alternative title: Sew, another flat lay.
The scissors on the right are my first ever pair of hairdressing scissors. The middle pair are my latest acquisition and the others are just vintage style. The cotton reels are all vintage.
