I really tried to think outshide the box for this assignment and came up with this. I would appreciate any cc/feedback. This is my first flat lay.
“A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.” —Chinese proverb
This Blythe doll is Lady Camellia. The bird on a branch is a cutout from a magazine. This picture is for the theme “Bird” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr.
Life is great when you feel as cute as a button!
This Blythe doll is Sarah Shades, wearing and surrounded by 27 buttons (9 on her hat—some of the objects on her hat are beads, not buttons—3 on her dress, and 15 on the background) for the theme “Twenty-seven” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. I made her dress and hat.
50 Years today!.
The rose is named "Golden Celebrations". An English rose which is blooming beautifully in my garden at the moment.
Yummy focaccia with cherry tomatoes, olives and fresh rosemary served with sour cream and iced lemon tea
Flatlay still life with blue mussel shells and textures from boat hulls. All textures in my images are my own photographs - I never buy or use other people's textures.

Barry, Perry, Terry and Jerry ...
little teddy bears from my collection,
a gift from my husband years ago.
Handmade by a German artist.
In various sizes and colors, mohair fur ...
and they're all wearing a little red bow.
Moved away from shooting with the rule of thirds in mind
and placed these little bears at the bottom of my composition.
The Flat-Lay image shows my Home-Made Pork Pies and some gorgeous Shropshire Blue, and Little Hereford Oak Smoked Cheddar Cheese. Mmmm ...
This one used in Week 47 - Flat lay and Knolling photography - set by the Compositionally Challenged Group.
A seed planted for you and me
To grow through the harshest conditions
Stronger with rain, taller with Sun
Standing strong is what it yearns
That is how a friendship should be
To survive days of struggle and pain
If we fall, stand tall, come back for more
We are ready to face it again
'Cause a flower still continues to grow
With every opportunity it gets
So two of us shouldn't stop here
To strive is a promise we already set

I took this as part of the 2018 CM P52 Week 4 prompt...a selfless selfie, "a photo that represents you."
I found this little piece of flat rusty metal on the beach at Trefor on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales and thought the blue of the three Welsh mussel shells went well with the rusty texture. The text in the background is from a medieval script (in Welsh) of the ancient tale of Taliesin, who was given that name after being rescued from the ocean as a baby.
