i found this old truck on an abandoned farm in central Michigan

This is a different vantage point of Flatbed Falls that I never tried before. All of the rubble that washes over the falls including a lot of larger trees in the spring collect where I am standing. I think beavers added to the mass of logs by trying to construct a lodge. So, I am walking out on this pile of logs and compacted debris and trying to get out as far as I can on semi-solid footing for this viewpoint. After I took a few photos, I took one more step - and broke through the branches and into the water. I barely managed to hold onto my camera and pull myself back up out of the water. After that I was much more careful where I stood and where I positioned the tripod! The logs in the foreground are stuck in place and the bark gets polished off by the flowing water.

The substation crews used these trucks, as most of their work involved moving parts in and out of substations, and lifting the equipment into place, and rarely was the work out of reach of extension ladders.

This truck was equipped with pumps and oil tanks for transferring transformer oil.

Nice cabs on the Hume Hwy

Great to see the return of the CarGo livery though theres no denying the pretty new 2016 RAM Flatbed casting is one pretty cheapo Maisto looking affair. No interior and scant amounts of detailing. Part of 2021 Case A which I had to source elsewhere in Power Grabs packaging though this assortment is I believe now appearing at Tesco. Mint and boxed.

Found photo. Can anyone suggest what this truck is rigged out for? A late 50's Ford?

On the way home from the IARR either me or J wanted food. Found this little toy while we stopped, presumably on the way to the next job.
