Virginia Court and Marischal Court - built in late 60s or early 70s and designed by the City Architect to replace slums in the area. Many of the city flats are orientated north/south to maximise sunlight and keep shadows to a minimum. They are made with reinforced concrete and have granite rubble cast into the concrete to minimise staining from rain.
