A short 43-mile leg from Buelton to Santa Barbara. A nice tailwind made the pedaling easier, but the debri in the shoulders caused a 2nd flat of my rear tire in 2 days. So, my flat in Japan, home for 11 weeks.
It is actually a perfectly reasonable size, with good on-demand hot water, free broadband and general electricity and its own super powerful air con unit. The bathroom doubles as the dryer with another powerful fan installed to dry both the room and any clothing on the line.
The only problem I have is that the "kitchen" is perhaps a little under-developed. I'll be looking for a grill / microwave oven at the weekend. I need to be able to cook things! or at least grill them! A man should not live on stir frys alone...
