Long Exposure Assignment

Had some time to kill before entering the haunted house. A lot of fun was had by all.

Custom Titanium flashlight with a blocky pattern designed to match the client's wedding ring pattern.

Ten second exposure in the basement of one of the Whitby Psych buildings. The light trails are Rannie and Natalie's flashlights.

Here is the flashlight I use for light writing. I added some tape to the front to diffuse the light a little. It uses three AAA batteries.

This is an actual (and VERY pickeled!) dead specimen of a deep-sea Flashlight fish; the lower eyelid shows the glands that house the bioluminescent bacteria that makes it glow in the dark in those depths. Definitely something you don't see every day, but I guess just another day at the California Academy of Sciences!
