I went camping in Stillwater Oklahoma a few days ago, and I FINALLY got to use my hammock that was purchased in the summer.

For Hadley to take a walk. Me, not so much. The flashlight under his chin made me laugh.
ODC: A Night Under the Stars
A flashlight to hold for scary stories, or just if it's dark out.
Three different types included:
Up on your shoulder - watching out in front of you if it's dark outside.
Down by your side - If you're more cool about the dark but still want to see what's there.
Super-Scary Story Teller - holds up in front of your face, Click to animate some scary monster hands!
Light turns on and off, and is made to work with SL's lighting model!
Adox Sport, Steinheil-Cassar 4.5/105mm, Rollei Ortho 25
exposure time: ca. 5 min (don't remember the exact time)
Exposure in the dark:
light-painting with flashlight.
I told Skye to write her name with the flashlight. Her instructions were to use the entire frame, do it in only two seconds, and not to move her whole body.
"Skye" isn't exactly legible. However, considering she only had a couple practice tries I think she did rather well. She told me after we took the shot that she used "cursive" so it would be faster.
The ISO was ramped up to 800 so I wouldn't have to use a flash and a 2 second shutter. Handheld!
I'm taking a break from Flickr in general, but I didn't want to miss my post for this week's 52 Weeks for Dogs. I kept this one private, so only 52 Week's members can see it.
For the photo, I decided to do something unusual this week. I took Wookie into the windowless bathroom and lit him with only a flashlight. I'm not sure how I feel about the results, (Wookie looks nearly earless!). It was worth a try though! :-)

My little brother and I were playing around with a flashlight and long shutter speeds.
This is me and my deconstructed (aka. failed!) attempt at drawing an octave clef. Good times, though
SOOC
A simple flashlight made from a 1x1 yellow tile and lightsaber hilt.
I'm sure I'm not the first or the last person to make one of these

The theme for the Chalkfox SP Challenge was "Flashlight/Mirror" so in this one, of two, I'm obviously being very literal about it. The half-tone was added to make give the image a more graphic direction, to give it a bit of a quirky nudge.
I noticed in the text at the very, very bottom of the group's main page that it is possible to submit 2 pics a month, so I am going to take advantage of that and use both photos I've done. I couldn't make up my mind.
Similar in composition to the previous photograph, this one was illuminated using only a mini-mag light. This was my first attempt at painting with a mini mag lite. Exposure set for 8 seconds as the small flashlight was used to create the lighting effect you see. Post processed with Picnik to curve the colors, contrast, and soften just a tad.
A flashlight is nice, but you can only see what the beam hits ... and even more spooky with a viewfinder in front of your eyes.
