PA_640 [30 points]
Space invader number 1642 in the world has been re-activated and therefor a revisit gave me 30 extra points on FlashInvaders. And this neighborhood is anything but a punishment to walk through. The man in the middle of the street was focussed on the Moulin de la Galette.

Mosaic art at ESA’s ESRIN Earth observation centre near Rome, Italy, placed under a mockup of Europe's launcher for small satellites Vega. French artist Invader is installing his art at ESA establishments around Europe and even on the International Space Station.
ESA has been monitoring Earth with its environmental satellites since the 1970s, keeping a constant watch over our planet by analysing satellite data to protect our environment.
The first space invader mosaic art was found by ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti during her mission on the International Space Station. She installed ‘Space2’ in Europe’s Columbus space laboratory. Since then, space-themed art has appeared at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany, at our Redu Centre in Belgium, our space operations centre in Germany and ESA’s technical heart in the Netherlands, and it even took over our headquarters in Paris, France.

Just flashed my 1503th space invader here...
Location: Place Rhin-et-Danube, Paris 19ème, France.
Coordinates: Click on the link to see the exact location where this photo was taken:
Reason: During my 908th découcher (overnight) in Paris my mission was to visit this space invader which I never flashed before. And that while this is already the third PA_984 after being removed from the wall twice.
PA_984: The original space invader was installed by Invader on 15/05/2011/ It was in 2011 the 2539th space invader of the world made by Invader. Deleted in 2014/2015. First re-activation took place in 2017 and this was deleted in 2021. This version number 3 of PA_984 and finally flashed by me.

FlashInvaders: This my 1503th space invader flashed since I joined this online game which already has more than 293 thousand players and over 18 million space invaders have been flashed. In total I scored 43,830 points and when this photo was taken I was ranked 790th of 293,000plus which is not that bad at all. This PA_984 was my 1250th space invader in Paris I flashed out of the 1485 space invaders in Paris (April 2023).

The first space invader put up after the lockdown in France which ended on May 11, exactly the day Nina Simone appeared on the wall here.
This invader attracts a lot of attention, you don't see Nina Simone every day! The tour guide in the picture was explaining the phenomenon space invaders and is a player of FlashInvaders as well (like more than 137,000 as we speak, 31/07/2020).

A low outlined space invader of the late ninetees of which I have never seen the original before. Because the street has been raised, the re-activated space invader had to be adjusted and misses half of the tiles. It might be the reason why this one is not flashable with the application FlashInvaders (as we speak in February 2020; more than 125,000 players and more than 6.5 million flashes!).

This one is the first of a series of CryptoPunks mosaïcs made by Invader. CryptoPunks is a non-fungible token (NFT) collection on the Ethereum blockchain. The project was launched in June 2017 by the Larva Labs studio, a two-person team consisting of Canadian software developers Matt Hall and John Watkinson. The experimental project was inspired by the London punk scenes, the cyberpunk movement, and electronic music artists Daft Punk. There are 10,000 unique CryptoPunks (6,039 male and 3,840 female), all of which are made digitally scarce through the use of blockchain technology. Each one was algorithmically generated through computer code and thus no two characters are exactly alike, with some traits being rarer than others.
But this Cryptopunk PA_1478 is not a NFT anymore! He stands now on a façade in Paris, just above the place where New Rose, the legendary records shop and label was. [ # Invaderwashere ]

Quai d'Orsay: The Quai d'Orday is a quay in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. It is part of the left bank of the Seine opposite the Place de la Concorde.
The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs is located on the Quai d'Orsay, between the Esplanade des Invalides and the National Assembly at the Palais Bourbon, and thus the ministry is often called the Quai d'Orsay by metonymy. The building containing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was built between 1844 and 1855 by Jacques Lacornée. The statues of the facade were created by the sculptor Henri de Triqueti (1870). The Treaty of Versailles (1919) was negotiated and written at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The quai d'Orsay has a length of 1270. meters and a width of 29 meters.
Weather: Mostly sunny, almost sunset, 15° C

Another 'glitch' space invader high above the traffic on the Boulevard Périphérique at the South side of the city. Hard to get close but good enough with a zoom lens and seen from the other side which is already not in Paris anymore officially but in Val-de-Marne. This red/yellow/orange invader was number 3736 in the world.

The online game FlashInvaders forces me to visit space invaders again in neigbhourhoods I don't visit very often like this corner in the 13ème arrondissement. It was almost 10 years ago I was here and I must say that this space invader hasn't changed that much. This original space invader is still in good shape.
