I was very lucky to be part of the first space invader tours organized by some of the biggest fans of Invader's work in cooperation with ESTEC. With special thanks to the manager of the Space Expo, Olivier and Invader who brought them together.
After the invasion of ESA (European Space Agency) in Redu Belgium (14 space invaders, 430 points) and Frankfurt (14 space invaders, 430 points), the HQ in Paris also the ESTEC (European Space Research and Technology Centre) in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, has been invaded. On June 3, Invader has put up 10 space invaders of which 2 in and on the Space Expo, a permanent space exposition. In total worth 480 points. This operarion of Invader is referred as SPACE2ISS.
This space invader is located in one of the office buildings on the the enormous terrain of ESTEC.

Number 50 in Marseille is a space invader with a view and diving goggles or snorkel. Located far from the center in Les Goudes almost in the area of the Calanques. Alongside the Boulevard Alexandre Delabre.

THE INVASION OF ROTTERDAM
In the year 2001 the city of Rotterdam has been invaded by Invader. In 4 days Invader put 26 space invaders (1 hidden bonus) on the walls of Rotterdam. Sometimes hidden sometimes on very visible locations. As we speak (*January 2019) about 18 of 26 space invaders are there. Ten of them due to the work of the re-activations. Eight of them are still the original space invaders of 2001 put up by Invader.

In the spring of 2017, 20 space invaders were placed in the Moroccan capital in four days (15/03/2017 to 18/03/2017), of which there are currently (* August 2025) 9 left. My score is 8/20 as we didn't know the location of RBA_14 during our hunt.
This "tajine" space invader is lovated at the corner of the Place Melilia and Avenue Abdelmoumen opposite the Jardin Nouzhat Hassan.

Another good example of a space invader which I have never seen before. Not the original, not the first re-activation (2015) and not even the second re-activation (2018) which is this one.
And I came across this one purely by chance and initially thought I was looking at a copy cat too. FlashInvaders taught me that it is a space invader from the very first year. And this was both number 43 in Paris as in the world. A classic! Me happy.

Located in a relatively quiet but wide street in the quartier Javal: in the 15ème arrondissement in Paris. The original was made in the 20th century.

Space invaders PA_11 and PA_12 are next to each other in the Rue Keller but were not installed at the same time. There are two days (or nights) between. At the end of November 2024, news came through the channels about space invaders that they were reactivated at the end of November. I have never seen these two blue brothers in the 11ème arrondissement so I had no choice and went to the scene.

Fernand Joseph Désiré Contandin (8 May 1903 – 26 February 1971), better known as Fernandel, was a French actor and singer. Born near Marseille, France, to Désirée Bedouin and Denis Contandin, originating in Perosa Argentina, an Occitan town located in the province of Turin, Italy.
Till August 2020 I found and flashed all 13 space invaders of wave 1 (MARS_01 - MARS_11 - 2004 and wave 2 (MARS_12 and MARS_13). But during wave 3 in August 2020 the number of space invaders went up to 97. In total 84 space invaders on my list again.

Marseille has been invaded 13 times devided in 3 invasion waves and the total points in Marseille is 220 points. The first invasion wave took place in the Summer of 2004 with in total 9 space invaders (2019).
