Oh I hate flash!
Ok on the hearth Elle standing futher from the camera then zoomig in on her. Warmed up the colour using Lomo-ish which also toned down the background
Used Lomo-ish on Picnik
A week of experimenting with flash and editing software.
I'm usually not happy with the harsh look a flash gives on Elle so time to find a way to deal with it....by hook or by crook!!

The roots of this moss & fungus covered tree are on the edge of Fields Farm Flash and the snapshot was taken from Moston Footpath 21.

Bouquet with glass object.
Strobist info: Lighted with two Nikon SB800 flashes. One to left and and under the bouquet bare. One to right and forward of bouquet, diffused. Gobos placed in between flashes and glass object to stop light form hitting it.
i bought a flash. my model here is trying too hard and it's nowhere near perfect but i couldn't resist posting this for some reason
I finally gave in a purchased an external flash and 50mm prime f/1.7-22 for my camera. Thought I give them both a try out on my poor unsuspecting animals.
