I was just shooting some test shots with the new camera and flash and just liked this photo of Danny.

These gold chairs were a bit OTT. I don't think I'd feel too cosy sitting in them.

hahaha what a padh sometimes.

i loathe using the regular flash on IS {my camera}, but i have to sometimes. so many pictures from this came out blurry no matter how still i held my hands or how still a&b were, it's really heartbreaking sometimes:(

Didn't know gourds could be used as laser guns, did you? (I hear they can also be used for unforgivably bad puns, but I wouldn't know.)

Just decided to skate by during one of our skate sessions.

We ended up testing some flashsetups at work. Three flashes used. The model is a really famous and talented noiseartist from Croatia(Zagreb), Miggy Cakes www.flickr.com/mikkomiettinen. Thanks Miggy!

camera batteries died before I could experiment with this light... and concept more... used build in flash and a piece of looseleaf... also I'm aware of the terrible framing but I still like this falling button... tried holding two in my eyes like monacles but the facial expression was horrific haha. and they fell out... hence the falling button.

Another picture trying to light the car with my flash. 15 second exposure with about 20 or so flashes all around with my 580 handheld.

In the first attempt for today's picture, I had forgotten to switch the automatic flash off. So the flash thoroughly overexposed things, so much so that the cucumber almost totally disappeared. At first I thought this picture was wasted, but after a second look I decided it had some charm of its own. Just a little intervention to restore some of the red in the tomatoes and here you go...

Back in June, my wife gave me a photo course for my birthday on how to use a flash. The course has been postponed about four times, because of lack of numbers. Anyway, the course finally started last week. I've had a few assignments to do this week. This assignment is: produce a portrait photograph using bounce flash indoors as the main light.

I shot this in b/w, and wanted to keep it dark with the edges disappearing into black. Didn't quite get myself on the thirds, but hard to get the composition right when you're shooting yourself.
