Flash figure designed by Alex Ross from the Kingdom Come series. He's actually semi transparent - I tried to capture that as best as possible. It took a few lights behind him to get close.
this shot wasn't really high-speed (1/200 second), it was more a test of my reaction time (the sink was dripping at random and i have no specialized equipment)
I was trying to move some of my archives around today (you really don’t want to know) and ran across this one. It’s from Meadowlark Gardens in Griffin, Georgia back in 2014. I don’t think I’ve ever used it before but I saw it and instantly thought “square”, so here it is.

#107 for 122 in 2022: Turn back the clock
This dates from the 50's or 60's and it was my Dad's although he had not used it in years when I inherited it. I don't know if I could get the flash bulbs for it anymore.

Used this recently for a very intimate family party and I love it even more!
A massive experiment tossed off as a trivial nothing by the natural world -- the atmosphere itself is turned into a prism, separating the blue and the green from the yellow and red of the sun's white light. The green is only there for a second, but there nonetheless.
For Riley's 7th birthday party we did a photo booth here are some shots from it.
Did the setup like Zack Arias showed using tile board and 4 flashes. 3 460ii's and a SB800, 2 on the kids and 2 on the seamless white.

sidenote:
***around the first week of january 2011, i was told that the tron deluxe identity disc changed their circuit board to a green one lacking open solder points.
however, modders were still successful. the idea is still the same. solder the wires to the resistor that corresponds to each led. it may be a bit more difficult without the open solder spots, but it still works without any issues.***
I am loving off camera flash. I had my sb-600 set up with my new Westcott 43 inch collapsible umbrella flash kit. I had the flash at 1/4 power pointed into the reflective side of the umbrella.
The result of an evening mucking around with a borrowed flash. I think I've found what I want for Christmas...
