A view of the top-right part of a Gordon 8U subrack photographed with flash. You can clearly see one of the power supplies, the two QDR4X InfiniBand cables connected to each compute node (one plugged into the PCIe riser card), and the subrack sticker from Appro identifying it as the subrack containing nodes 31-38 and 41-48 of rack #2.
I got Kevin to take some goofy shots of me in the back yard as well, since I already had the lights set up.
The cigarette is just a prop, I don't smoke. :)

Another shot, upstream of the bridge, at the confluence of two normally empty stormwater channels. In nearby Woden, about 40 years ago, 4 or 5 people were killed in a flash flood that swept their cars off the main road. I can see why.

Flash firing on 2nd curtain while KP spinning...
This was an experiment after I was testing what would happen if I was moving while firing flash on 2nd curtain on a 'long' exposure...interested in comments about the technique and outcome not the image itself.
