A shot for a project the uni has set where we have to take pics of dogs and their owners using a metz flash gun.....fun times.
Taken at the 26th N Design (the national design students meetup) in João Pessoa, Paraíba. Eight days of intense debates and parties, great for photos.

This is an early test for a Flash animation I am working on. There are a few things to tweak, but the main idea is there.

The red flashing lights are turned on just before engines start and turned off after engines are shut down (walking near an operating jet engine or turboprop is more dangerous than juggling chain saws: when ground personnel see those red lights flashing, they know the engines are running and the area is unsafe; white wingtip strobes are typically turned on near the runway because they are a distraction to other pilots on the ground); as for the red optical edging effects in the airplane window, let me here mention the significant visual phenomenon of polarization, which describes the tendency of light waves to oscillate in a certain direction
