Trim the edges flush to the seat with an electric knife. Because of the contours of the seat pan, I thought trying to cut it first then line it up would be a nightmare. This worked well, except the knife gets a bit bogged down by the glue.

These petrified logs definitely won't burn... and they're so heavy they won't be going anyplace, either.

Oxygen: This is actually the biggest reason behind stale container, partly because it's so hard to combat. Revealing your coffee beans to air can lead them to go stale in simply a few days. Warmth: Yes, warmth is requested roasting, and you will likely brew your coffee with warm water. However in between those times, you want to keep it in a very good environment. Not cool like the refrigerator, though. Moisture: A small amount of moisture can damage your coffee very quickly. Condensation on the frigid beans prematurely emits their oils. That is why you want to keep it from the fridge. Light: Specifically sunlight. Ultra violet rays can cause the beans to oxidize faster. Essentially the most damaging results happen straight after roasting, which explains why your roaster isn't shipping and delivery your beans in a bag or box. So for the freshest coffee beans, you want to avoid contact with these four enemies, which explains why you will need an Airtight Coffee Container. BIG MOUTH: contemporary feminist voices in art and illustration

OPENING AUGUST 9 @ BROOKLYN FIREPROOF

a group show featuring

Suzy Exposito / Molly Fair / Kim Funk / Kathleen Hanna

J. Morrison / Adee Roberson / Gabby Schulz

Curated by Kate Wadkins + Lauren Denitzio, BIG MOUTH: contemporary voices in feminist art + illustration is a platform for unpopular visual opinions. Feminist movements have historically grown out of interventions within radical communities in the face of silence, anger, and often, violence. Still, these conflicts and contentions are fought with the utmost passion and humor in hopes for a radical resolution. BIG MOUTH illustrates the ever-evolving search for feminist/queer identities and communities. This group show places feminist narratives at the center of radical art-making, where often our voices are poorly represented or left out altogether. BIG MOUTH is a celebration of our pluralism, our goofiness, and a proclamation of defiant love.
