A nice blue paint flaked fire hydrant.

GROUP: LOOKING CLOSE...ON FRIDAY

THEME: RUST

SUBJECT: FIRE HYDRANT

It seems like someone just painted over the existing paint and then someone added a graffiti in blue paint. Then, the heat of the sun took over and the top coat of yellow paint started to peel off and soon the rust appeared.

Taken near Hilltop Manor in San Jose.

Si interrogas a este hidrante no te dará ni sus coordnadas. Es inmutable. Es mejor fotografiarlo.

Today’s post goes to the dogs. :) I cracked up when we came across these fire hydrants in Prescott Arizona this past weekend. We were camping just outside the town and had decided to go into Prescott for some afternoon fun. Upon arriving we started walking the town square and eventually stumbled upon these uniquely painted fire hydrants.

I can’t say that I have ever seen a collection quite like that. Kudos to who ever thought those up.

And to keep with the theme I decided on a little over processing for these guys. Not normally my thing to do, but fun to do every once in awhile for a change of pace. I wish everyone a fantastic weekend!
