I was trying to get a photo with negative space while I was outside and I found this fire hydrant.

Since we have cold weather coming to Austin I thought I'd post something appropriate.

Darren, Flo, Zofia and I headed out for a drive to Frederick today. We couldn't wake Joe up, so he missed out on the excitement. We checked out the new H-Mart store, walked around downtown, went to MOMs and Common Market, and stopped into Home Depot to look for a dogwood tree (no luck). Then, we took the long way home through Thurmont and Emmitsburg, stopping at the Catoctin Furnace and then a park we spotted somewhere near Wayensboro, where we took a nice walk and hung out for a bit, before heading home.

Fire Hydrant, Grizzly Peak Blvd, Oakland, California. This one struck me because of the subtle green top and bottom, the orange arrow, and the bright white against the darker background on a moist, foggy, bay area day.
