Adding the dance of the fireflies to a startrail photo

Take my love, take my land

Take me where I cannot stand

I don't care, I'm still free

You can't take the sky from me.

I've been going back and watching this awesome sci-fi show and i knew i needed to make some figures.

A little build with the Scala Hairdryers i just received today with my latest BL order. They only came in Aqua color so i used dark blue to balance. And i finally have some of those phone pieces!

13" exposure of fireflies behind Glade Road Growing's farmstand

"Glade Road Growing is a small family farm on leased land across the street from the Heritage Park in Blacksburg. We raise certified naturally grown produce and pasture-raised organic-fed meats and eggs. Yes, we raise it right here in the town limits of Blacksburg.

We believe that healthy food can be grown right here and that engaging in organic farming forms lasting connections within our community, improves the soils directly beneath us and strengthens human health. Our farming methods are based on building and maintaining soil health, biodiversity, and community involvement (read: fun). Come by and introduce yourself- we’d love to meet you." Firefly lurks in an alley, waiting for Cobra Commander to wire funds to his numbered account. And then he will press the "other" button on his device.

The results will be "impressive" unless the Joes can stop him.

Brett was responsible for the latest late night and we found fireflies and a faint aurora. the faint aurora is to the left. The attached photo shows Brett the Rockstar 5 explores this week!

I've lived in Alberta my whole life ...no fireflies.... never! and I only saw fireflies in Ontario and tropical countries before this night!

Radnor Lake is one of my favorite places in Nashville. Lightning bugs on a summer evening just make it better.

I've never seen so many fireflies all together. A 30 seconds exposure in a meadow between Padula and Sala Consilina.

Mai viste così tante lucciole tutte insieme. Una esposizione di 30 secondi in una radura tra Padula e Sala Consilina.

Fireflies in front of the camera set up to shoot the Milky Way in South Dakota.

Mass of fireflies on a warm slightly rainy night.

While there are a few high fliers, most of the activity seems to happen below 5-6 feet or thereabouts. So I thought I'd have a go shooting with a telephoto straight across the field. This is just over a 5 degree field of view on the diagonal, focused off in the distance so the larger the blob, the closer the firefly.

It's also 25 minutes worth of activity, but over such a small section of the field, you can imagine they were really on the pull!

Firefly - construction site

Got around to reworking my Tommy Firefly. :) Made it DBG this time instead of the LBG. Added some hedgerow cutters, some spare "binocular" tracks to the turret and side of hull, and changed the arse a bit. Even with the changes, it is still my smallest Sherman, part count wise. Only 540 pieces. :) And yes, before anyone asks, there is an entire fig in the turret. I have already reworked the turret box, again. I will update the pic when the render is done. :)

One thing I loved the most as a child was fireflies! I loved to see them out at night and catch them. I was a bit morbid with it sometimes though. When their ends lit up, I would smoosh it off and draw with it still glowing.

Adobe Firefly and Photoshop

Green beads look like fireflies or LED illuminated, when light falls on it. Really :)

My very first attempt to capture fireflies...

Numerous fireflies can be seen working their magic in this star trail image. The photo was made of 90 twenty second exposures taken with a Canon T6s and a 17-40 mm f/4L lens @ f/4.5 (ISO 800). Stacking was done in StarStaX.
