An FDNY fire engine.

A two-alarm fire damaged the historic Tadich Grill today. The fire was quickly extinguished, and the Grill should be open for business again soon. There were no injuries.

Established in 1849, Tadich is San Francisco's oldest restaurant and one of the city's oldest businesses.

Continuing with the extensive line of Dongfeng KL based trucks I found in a Chinese bazaar recently is this substantial looking Fire Engine. Unfortunately i've no idea which Chinese toy maker produced it despite the Milestar name being on the packaging but whoever is responsible should be proud.

For its very low price its satisfyingly well detailed all round despite its unlicensed status with a realistic looking cab fully furnished and a plastic rear body complete with removable ladders.

Spotted on 28th March 2023 parked in the first bay of Bootle & Netherton Fire Station was Reserve Rescue Pump DK55HND. I was surprised to see this pull into the fire station earlier in the day as I thought she was still St Helens 3rd pump, I'm not complaining though.
