No idea why they were there, but it was more interesting than most of the stuff I take pictures of on the walk from the car to the office every day, so it has that going for it.
Passing the queue of classic vehicles and normal traffic leaving Ipswich. The red vehicle to its left broke down a few miles further on, but still made it to Felixstowe.

While I was up the Coit Tower taking photos of the city, I heard (but couldn't really see) fire engines heading towards what looked like a smoky but otherwise not terribly serious fire to the southeast.
When I got off the tower, I more or less by accident ended up walking past this ladder engine, which I think I'd seen earlier downtown. Does San Francisco just have fire trucks driving around as a precautionary measure?
