Remember those generic horrors once available at Toys R Us stores throughout the World sold under their Fast Lane brand? I suspect some countries might still get them but many have been replaced by Welly and Suntoys in Asian markets.
Bizarrely some of these generic nasties have caught the attention of various Chinese toy makers ie. once one copies then many more follow!
Jieara certainly weren't the first to copy the Fastlane generic Fire Engine style vehicle and not the first to give it a black coloured Police livery either. Half grey plastic and half metal with clear lense headlights and fully rotating water cannon.
Found recently at Hiper Montblanc.

Seagrave Anniversary Style Pumper 1956
"The Light from Mars"
Mars Signal Light Company, Chicago, Illinois
Engine: Seagrave 531 cu in based on Pierce Arrow design
202 hp V-12
Pump: Seagrave Centrifugal 1000 gallons per minute
[The engine on this truck was built using factory equipment the Seagrave Company acquired after purchasing the Pierce-Arrow assets when that company closed after 37 years of building luxury automobiles in 1938.]
Built for Whitefish Bay, this truck shows many of the special features of the "75th Anniversary Series" of Seagrave trucks, notably the siren built into the nose. The company had their own casting foundry, and made the bell bracket, door handles, nameplates, MARS light mount, grille parts etc.

Both snow and a fire engine (something to do with a flat across the road) made a boring evening more exciting.
