We had a fire alarm at 150 Lonsdale today. There were 3 fire trucks!

I think it must have been a false alarm. We were allowed back in after about 45 minutes.

I saw this fire engine outside the Wells Fargo near Bell Air in Natomas. It seemed a fitting sight in light of what happened 15 years ago, in New York, New York, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania. Fire fighters were quick to respond, at great peril, saving lives, and giving closure to families and loved ones of those who could not be saved, by finding their remains, so that funeral arrangements could be made. Fire fighters everywhere still risk their lives, and still die, so be grateful for their presence.

This horse drawn tender was purchased in 1874 and was in use until 1913. It is housed inside St Peter's Church
