Weather was extremely sunny all day, hardly any clouds. None of the photographs needed to be adjusted for saturation or white balance.

Fire engine models at the lower end of the market can be very hit and miss in terms of quality and realism but this HTI product is definitely one of the better. It's an unlicensed casting but appears to be heavily based on a MAN TGA cab with neat modern styling and detailed livery. It is often seen in Teamsterz branded sets but this one is in a Motor Mania five vehicle set currently on sale at Sainsbury's. Mint and boxed.

This 2006 Scania Airport Fire Appliance was designed and built by Carmichaels and is used by the Shoreham Airport Fire Service as a Rapid Response Fire Tender.

This vehicle has a foam jet mounted to the roof and is four wheel drive.

It was seen at the Eastbourne Emergency Service Show 2008.

3.77 litre engine. Built in 1936 and served continously until1997. 100 gallon tank and a crew of 8.

The lighting caused Windigo Fire started on July 30, 2022. It was located 10 miles northeast of Lemolo Lake and 20 miles southwest of La Pine, Oregon. It burned 1,007 acres.

The brief for this cake was simply a cake in the shape of a fire engine. It was quite a large cake and was quite tricky but I think the overall effect was very good. My favourite parts are the fire hydrant and the oreos used for the wheels.
