We (my wife, her friend, and I) went to the 2016 Salt Lake City Comic Con. This was the first time for all of us. We didn't get there until about 4 p.m. so we missed Mark Hamil and some other panelist so we focused on people watching. For a Thursday there was very good turnout. We saw a lot of amazing costumes and also checked out Artist Alley and some of the other areas.
I'm not familiar with all the comic characters, so if you recognize the character, feel free to let me know.

Just a little over an hour ago while sitting on my couch and flipping through old photographs, my Grandma calls me. "Jake, what are you doing? You have to go outside and look at this sunset." So I ran upstairs and quickly grabbed all my equipment and hopped into my car. I had no idea where to go to take this photo besides this one lone road just past Archbold's high school. But then I found this little gem sitting just across the street. What a beautiful view just behind a church. Thanks for the opportunity Grandma.

Disney Pixar Formation Arts 1 by Square Enix
From Square Enix comes this first series of Disney & Pixar Formation Arts trading figures, an assortment of six of everybody's favorite Pixar animated movies realized in 3D! These trading figures are not only sculpted in gorgeous detail, but also, each piece is painted in vibrant colors as seen in the movies. Each trading figure is marked as a chess piece on the back of the display base, so can also be used in a chess game.
There are 6 trading figures from the Formation Arts - Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story 1, Woody from Toy Story 2, Flik from A Bug's Life, Sulley, Mike and Boo from Monsters Inc, Mr Incredible and family from The Incredibles, and Nemo, Marlin and Dory from Finding Nemo.

Anyone who pretends that they “hunted” a lion is lying. Lions really don’t care at all about vehicles. This lioness was just trying to get some shade rather than even being curious about the car.

**I figured it is about time that I make some room on my hard drive and clean off some images from last years Disney trip since I will be leaving on a jet plane in a few hours to sunny & WARM Florida! YAY!
