Finding Nemo cake and matching smash cake I made for my son’s 1st bday!
Nemo cake was 2 layers of vanilla cake & chocolate cake in the middle, with cookies & cream buttercream & bottom “Reef” Cake was Devils food chocolate cake w/cookies & cream buttercream!

Young people across Scotland will continue to benefit from a fund to help them into work thanks to a £6.1 million investment.
The funding for Community Jobs Scotland (CJS) will support up to 700 new job opportunities for 16 – 29 year olds. The support will be targeted at groups who face significant difficulties finding employment – including carers, young people with experience of care, those with disabilities, and young people with past criminal convictions.
The First Minister Nicola Sturgeon made the announcement while speaking at the Gathering, the biggest third sector event of the year.

Little Downy Woodpecker finding something to eat under the bark.
Many people blame woodpeckers for killing trees. The truth is that the tree is already dying. The woodpecker is eating because there are bugs under the bark.
Perhaps not the safest way across, but unlike the folks in the cars the people on foot were able to not let the trains extended stop put a stop in their tracks.
Metro, Paris
Sometimes you have just a split second to decide: do I take an image or not. We were just walking by and I saw this man staring at the Metro's map. I quickly took my camera and took the image whille passing by. No time to think about settings, ISO, etc. Processing was done later with some selective color to improve the scene's atmosphere...

from a new series, finding horizons | I am posting all 22 images in chronological order and several may be reposts as this is a work in progress.
We (my wife, her friend, and I) went to the 2016 Salt Lake City Comic Con. This was the first time for all of us. We didn't get there until about 4 p.m. so we missed Mark Hamil and some other panelist so we focused on people watching. For a Thursday there was very good turnout. We saw a lot of amazing costumes and also checked out Artist Alley and some of the other areas.
I'm not familiar with all the comic characters, so if you recognize the character, feel free to let me know.
I took these photos at the 2016 Salt Lake City Comic Con in September 2016.
The college was a Jesuit seminary which opened in 1934. In February 1969, the school relocated to Berkeley and is one of only two Jesuit theological centers in the United States operated by the Society of Jesus.
The original college buildings were heavily damaged by the Loma Prieta earthquake on October 17, 1989. That same year, the Jesuits sold the property for $12 million to Hong Kong Metro Realty, based in Madison, Wisconsin, and run by Dr. Jun Lee, nephew of Hong Kong casino billionaire Stanley Ho. Lee sold the land to Arlie Land and Cattle of Cottage Grove, Oregon in December 1997 for more than $17 million.
The building stands obviously vacant to this day, however, we noticed some equipment close to the road and wondered if they were going to tear it down. But it was a beautiful find and, to be honest, kind of eerie with all the paintings of angels and bible passages still found written on the walls from years ago. We did wonder if it had been an elementary school at one point after finding child sized chairs and signs that would be made for gets but we haven't found as much as we like on the place.
