finding where I'm supposed to be
and where i want to be
seem to be matching up lately
and i don't want to think about it
i don't want to do anything about it
because all of what i know
and all of what I'm used to now
will change
i took this pic in early summer 2009, and had ignored till yesterday because i disliked rolls, which include this pic, taken with pen-ft.
but now, i totally changed my mind, and don't dislike them at all. :)
good finding from looking over past pictures. :))

Finding Fuji Part 2, May-July 2022

Finding Yourself to Your Own Ruin
1 Samuel 16:7; Luke 19:3; John 7:24; 2 Corinthians 10:7; Philippians 2:21
You will quickly be deceived if you look only to the outward appearance of men, and you will often be disappointed if you seek comfort and gain in them. If, however, you seek Jesus in all things, you will surely find Him. Likewise, if you seek yourself, you will find yourself—to your own ruin. For the man who does not seek Jesus does himself much greater harm than the whole world and all his enemies could ever do.

Sometimes in life we lose the trail, but if we work hard and persevere we eventually find it again and come out better for our efforts. It's like that with dog mushing too.
Here Sandy struggles while Churrie leaps to pull the team haw (left) as she searches for the firm footing of the trail beneath the deep fresh snow.
No dogs were hurt in the making of this photograph.

which world found you at birth?
what saw you as your eyes opened?
was it a long night of sorrows or a gift?
was it a dark place or one that inspired you?
found you contentment in your own reflection
or witnessed you only the mirror?

Artist biography:
If people of this world spent more time finding beauty around us and less fighting and plotting to kill one another, I think that we all would be much better off. There are so many beautiful places, far away and close to home, where only peace exists and yet humanity has perfected means of killing each other more than anything else. Just my two cents - it has been a sad week to wake up every day and hear of another shooting or stabbing somewhere in the world (without even considering all the ones that we never hear about).

Still wearing Fastrack colours although with new fleetnames and numbers, Nu-Venture 699 GN06 EVK waits to pull out of Roughetts Road and onto London Road between Ryarsh and Addington whilst working route 58. Tuesday 12th April 2016
ARRIVA Kent Thameside in partnership with Kent County Council replaced the whole Fastrack fleet with a fleet of twenty-one Wrightbus StreetLites during August 2015. The first fourteen members of the former fleet (3801 - 3814) were owned by KCC and were duly returned with ARRIVA retaining the other twelve (3815 - 3826). Whilst the ARRIVA vehicles have found new work, KCC have struggled to find new owners and so far only two have found new owners 3807 with Nu-Venture and 3810 with 1st Bus Stop.
