...it got me too.
Been feeling strange for a couple of days, and today things went worse, fast.
My spouse got me a self-test kit from a neighbor.
Took the test which immediately showed I got the shit.
She looked at me, smiled, and said:
"What is it then? A boy or a girl?"
I love that woman. Even if she makes me cough instead of laughing.
I don't often like remodels (as they take away uniqueness), but this one was needed.
Olean, NY. June 2021.

Finally caught it, originally from the mainland, unfortunately since i took this photo, 1 mounth later, this truck has been involved in a crash and it was scrapped...
In the last 18 months I have been to the Australian mainland's most eastern point (Byron Bay)and very close to the western (Steep Point) and southern (Wilson's Promontory). With the Tip, I can now claim to have been to the four corners of the continent.
After keeping an eye on this Royal Spoonbill for an hour or so, it finally woke up, yawned, and...
EARTHQUAKE UPDATE
After the 5.3 magnitude quake that struck with a bang at 11:26pm last night, there has been no further shaking, and - as far as I know - no reported damage. However, the Hutt Valley (where we live) is a major Fault Line, and a further 7 Fault Lines criss-cross beneath Wellington City, so we shake (Perhaps the wrong word to use!) the dust from our feet and move on - and hope that "The Big One" is still some years away...!
Thanks so much for the very kind and encouraging comments beneath this photo...! Your support is always greatly appreciated...!
DDC-Finally
It was very hot outside today, I think it got up to the mid 80's again. We are 5,000 feet up on a mesa here so the sun is intense. Going outside for long is very uncomfortable. I am anxiously waiting for Fall!
We finally made it to MosaiCanada in Gatineau, which is the city on the Quebec side of the Capital Region. The exhibit celebrates Canada's 150th Anniversary and is super impressive. Plants are attached to wire frames and kept in fantastic shape.
This is Mother Earth. Just a marvellous piece although I would have loved a different background.
I think if you live in the region and can go, you should. Open until October 15, free admission.

And finally, on this brief visit to Stowe landscape gardens in Buckinghamshire, one last glimpse of the Palladian bridge – one of only four in the United Kingdom, and the epitome of architectural elegance.
The glory that is Stowe has been attracting visitors since 1717. These magnificent 250-acre gardens, now owned and administered by the National Trust, provide lakeside walks and views of temples, monuments and follies erected by the aptly-named Richard Temple (1675-1749), who later became the first Viscount Cobham.
A much-decorated soldier and a Whig politician, Cobham was mentor to William Pitt the Younger, who was twice Prime Minister. After Cobham’s death, the gardens gradually fell into disrepair and remained so until the 1980s, when Stowe School donated them to the National Trust. Since then, they have been restored to their Georgian splendour, and work continues.
I don't think there are many things in life more unpleasant or difficult, than moving from one home to another. With respect to fun-ness, it's right up there with root canals, in my opinion. This past weekend I finally unpacked the last box, and fully reclaimed the garage for its intended use, following a house move which began six weeks earlier. Whew, did that feel good!!!
To celebrate the completion of this onerous task, I hopped on my bicycle Sunday afternoon and rode far into the Santa Monica Mountains, beginning at my home in Tarzana and ending high on the Mulholland Fire Road. The weather couldn't have been better -- it was pleasantly warm with just a hint of Fall in the air, and the sky was brilliantly clear. At my planned turnaround point I got off my bicycle and slowly took in the view around me. That's when I finally felt I was at home :-)
I snapped this photo of the vista, with my cell phone. It's a westward view looking into Topanga Canyon, and the most distant mountain ridge stands adjacent to the town of Malibu on the coast.

been a long week, was starting to think Friday would never get here.
have fun and be safe
and now for something completely different...
Brand New NS 272 comes roaring by Shell road with #4466 leading its way to Portlock yard. always fun to see the WRFX leasers that are running around as of right now.
This train used to be 271 but was changed to 272. Even numbers are supposes to be Eastbound and odd number are supposed to be Westbound. Makes me wonder if there gonna changed 275.
Finally an own freight car design again, yay!
Came across the prototype in a YouTube video by N-Scale Dystopia (highly recommend the channel) and immediately knew I had to make one of those. Basically a normal gondola, but taller due to the fact that it's meant to haul scrap/trash, which usually is lower density.
From what I've found it'd be prototypical to build it in black, white, lt grey, red, green or blue.
Thanks to Chris Stone for helping me out with the end parts, they turned out so nice.
I finally got the New Singing Ariel and Singing Rapunzel dolls to day at the Disney Store to add to my Singing doll collection, now hopefully I'll by able to get Merida to complete my collection.
Anw YAAAAAAS !
I finally get my most wanted EAH dolls :D I really wanted this 2 pack because of Hunter because i don't have a lot ot boy dolls but i have to say that Ashlynn is soooo perfect too !! *-* They are so cute and so detailed i love them !
