Watched this pilot put on an amazing show with the F-22 at Fairchild AFB Skyfest in Spokane, Washington.
Powering into the air and ripping a hole through the sky and my ears. I love the colours of the burners on those RB199 engines: the red core and the blue fringes on the edges. Note the double slotted Fowler flaps, an unusual item to find on a fighterjet. The Tornado has no ailerons, instead is uses wing spoilers and differentially actuated slab stabilizers (sometimes called tailerons). Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 51 Immelmann Black Panther special paint scheme.

This is a sight never to be seen again. Patrouille Suisse F-5E Tiger II No 3 piloted by Captain Michael 'Püpi' Duft, with the position of Left Wing, is seen here landing after its last display at Internationale Luft-und Raumfahrtausstellung (ILA) Berlin 2016. This aircraft crashed just a week later at Leeuwarden after colliding with J-8088, the first such accident in the team's 52 year history. The pilot safely ejected and the team will resume its display schedule with an extra F-5 borrowed from the air force.
