Around two years ago I made a small microscale fighter out of tablescraps while beginning to sort my LEGO. Even though it was a fairly ordinary design I was quite fond of it so never took it apart, and after finishing my SHIPtember project was looking for something new to occupy me. So I decided to scale it up, and the result is what I am calling the Wolfhound - a near-atmosphere, crew-of-two fighter craft.
Initially I was going to a simple scale-up, keeping all the features of the original micro model the same. As I progressed I couldn't help tweaking some stuff, however; the most noticeable change being the length of the wings. The original wings ended up looking something like battering rams, more as a result of the parts I had available than anything. When it came to the minifig-scale model, I couldn't get a solution I was happy with, so I played around with some of the proportions and ended up with a Vic Viper-esque shape that I'm quite pleased with.
Found some time to build last night. Based on a Talros concept art, or at least I think. Not the most detailed build, but it is very strong and was fun. Also sorry for shit pictures, only had 10 min to take pictures and crop

Andree Virot Peel, code name, Agent Rose, was a smooth "criminal" and true war hero. Before World War II, she ran a beauty parlor, but soon became an important part of the French Resistance movement. Beautician by day, spy by night.
Andree saved over 100 British and American airman. She directed airplanes to land at night by torchlight, hid French soldiers from Nazi soldiers, distributed a newspaper to share information about the resistance movement, and became a leader in figuring out and reporting German military movements and targets.
She worked for 5 years secretly defying the occupying Nazi forces and was captured by the Nazis in 1944 and tortured and imprisoned. Luckily, it was toward the end of the war and she was saved by Allied forces before they could kill her.
She was honored with the Legion of Honor, the U.S. Medal of Freedom and the King's Commendation from King George. She lived to 105.

Originally started as a commissioned build for BrickVault, but ended up being a complete redesign of an older MOC. The model is scaled up to fit a minifig inside and still have that spherical-ish design of older 2014 design.
In addition, I have created instructions available at BrickVault: www.youtube.com/watch?v=webxi_LxdIA

You ever had that inner struggle of who you are and who you want to be. This is a photo of just that. Jackie has been training for a fitness competition and her internal fight comes to a head a lot. It seems to be a constant battle of juggling her workouts and dedication to the sport and her family. I think it's something we can all relate to on some level. Her strength is un believable and it's a pleasure to watch. I was able to witness her hit the stage 2 years ago...she was amazing! This year is a lot tougher fitness is an entirely new beast. This photo and her journey reminds me of the song from Gym Class Heroes "The Fighter".
The USMF's elite pilots (those given the rank of Paladin) are a tough breed whose exploits are well known across the galaxy. Though qualified on a wide array of different craft (including ones not used by the USMF) most Paladins operate solo or in small groups; often great distances from allied bases or capital ships and thus have found great use in one-man fighter craft with FTL capability.
Miniaturizing FTL jump drives is a complex and costly process, but the benefits of a faster-than-light starfighter are numerous. For years, the USMF Paladins utilized the AX-20 "Katana" in this role. While a sturdy and fast ship, the Katana's production foundry was completely destroyed in the beginning stages of the Dimension Wars, and as such, it's service numbers dwindled further from the already small amount (in comparison to non-FTL fighters in the fleet).
Starcom Solution's answered the call for a "faster-than-light jack of all trades" by introducing the "Tekkan" (a name of Japanese origin inspired by its spiritual predecessor "Katana"). Starcom Solutions, living up to it's name, conquered the complex issue of small FTL jump drives with a unique solution; the drive systems were built at the capital ship shipyards on Saturn and then shipped to Neptune where quantum technology was used to shrink the units down to a smaller size.
Impressed by the originality of Starcom Solutions' engineering prowess, the USMF quickly requested a Tekkan for immediate trial runs. The first Tekkan produced (which was painted red with white markings as tribute to the Katana) passed its tests with flying colors (no pun intended) and was assigned to Paladin Kira Janus.
The Tekkan features twin heavy repeating lasers (much like those found on Hyperius Industries' "Scorpion"-class heavy fighter) and twin "Mjölnir"-type lightning cannons, which fire thunderous bolts of energy across great distances. These weapons pack quite the punch and require no ammunition, but require a great amount of charge time. If safety protocols are bypassed, the capacitor banks can overcharge and result in a devastating chain reaction.
MV-18 Manta Viper is a single-seat, single engine light multirole fighter designed for close air support and ground attack. The main design is to create a small visual frame with high manoeuvrability. The wing would be foldable to cater more space within the hangar.
Here is the behind scene: I haven't build a fighter plane in awhile so I have decided to create a smaller scale fighter that is inspired by Starcom series Shadow Parasite design and as for the folable wing is inspired by WW 2 Hellcat plane. Thia smaller scale isn't easy to build cause it need a lot of thinking, function and dimension to cater like a real working fighter plane. Took me about 5-6 days to create the final version which I am satisfied with. This is the 3rd prototype build within the timeline 😉
As for the name when you look at the wing design it look like a manta ray which swim in the ocean with fast and agility movement.
Finally acquired a couple of these Nexo Knights windscreen elements and decided to build a nice little Ice Planet fighter to showcase one of them. I'm calling it the "Winterspike" because most of the other names that seemed appropriate (Ice Dagger, Snowhawk etc) seem to already be taken.
Henry's fighter has so many inspiring qualities. The main jumping off point was the dual cockpit arrangement. I wanted one gunner and one pilot but had a hard time keeping it compact without it looking ugly. Henry's has a mind blowing angle built in the sides and I wanted to incorporate that but cheated by angling the whole front half. I copied various other styling cues as well.
My wife Angela and I are huge fans of Henry's fighter and will display it proudly! So cool!
I set myself the challenge of making a completely brick built tri-fighter. There are parts that exist that can be used to provide some extra details, but I like the challenge of replicating the effect in bricks.
I’ve always had a soft spot for this model- I was always quite impressed with the 2005 version that used the click hinges to create the semi-circular ‘wings’ which seemed quite unconventional back then. LEGO traditionally includes a buzz droid minifig with their version, so in that spirit, I asked MisterShramp if he could design a buzz droid to accompany my design. And he really stepped up to the challenge!
I originally thought about using bionicle shoulder armour parts to create the central sphere, but I settled on this design after experimenting with a number of other spherical parts.
The next challenge was to find suitable parts to recreate the semi-circular wings. I went through a number of different ideas- but many of the parts I could find didn’t have the right radius to match the original design. In the end I used bricks with studs on 4 sides with a rigid hose through the middle. The curved tiles help maintain the shape.
After tackling those two challenges, all the other details were pretty intuitive, and the build is surprisingly sturdy too.
The colour scheme also went through a few revisions. Each illustration/ concept art/ scale model I could find had some variation of blue and grey. In the end I went for this pretty subtle pattern. Any thing busier tended to draw attention to the (unavoidable) gaps in the construction of the semi-circles.
Check out MisterShramp's flickr
and instagram if you haven't already- he's got a bunch of really interesting ideas and instructions for his builds too!
Alias: The Mystery
Real name: unknown
Gender: male
alliance: hero/vigilante
Backstory: The Mystery always dreamed about being a hero. He loved reading comics about them. When he saw the Flickr Fighters, he felt inspired. The crime in his city was high, and nobody seemed to care about it. Someone needed to do something, so he went on the street. First he started out small, with beating up street thugs and simple robbers. He wanted to stay anonymous, so he called himself The Mystery. When trying to stop a bigger criminal, an accident happened. This accident gave him the ability to read others mind. Shortly after that he made some arch-nemesises. Later on he joined the flickr fighters, one of his biggest dreams coming true.
Personality: smart, quiet and a bit shy, when feeling comfortable more talkative then usual, serious when needed.
Powers and weaknesses: The Mystery has psychic powers, so he is able to read somebody's mind and keep them busy in there own head. But this costs him a lot of concentration which makes him an easy target when he uses it. He just got this powers so he doesn't know yet what his strenghts, weaknesses and limits are. Because of this he doesn't use them very often, and prefers using his staff and fighting skills. Later in time he might be able to use mind control. Also when in battle he sometimes lets his emotions take control.
Well this is my Flickr Fighter, hope you guys like it! Tell me if anything is wrong with him, like too OP or something else.
Enjoy!

I was a bit surprised to find that it has been seven years since I last took a picture of my "Teen Fighters", i.e. the F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, F-16 Fighting Falcon/ Viper and F/A-18 Hornet.
