As the class 43 locomotives of BDZ currently are operating only freight services, this is a prerequisite for their appearance not to be the best. Therefore, catching a shiny Fighter (as the 43 series locomotives are called by trainspotters) is rather an exception. In this case, however, I was lucky enough to witness not one, but two good-looking Fighters in a perfect lighting! The photo shows the recently overhauled 43 511 and 43 307 ahead of an international freight train. The train is heavy, and the ascent to Vakarel station is one of the steepest, so there was another helper locomotive at the back of the train - 43 531. The photo was taken on 23 May 2020 near by Vakarel station.
This train and many more can be seen in this trainspotting compilation:
My dear family member is
now on the bed of death…
However, he is the cancer fighter .
I won't give up anything

Hmm, after all you put me through
You'd think I'd despise you
But in the end, I wanna thank you
'Cause you made me that much stronger
Well I, I thought I knew you
Thinkin' that you were true
Guess I, I couldn't trust
Called your bluff, time is up, 'cause I've had enough
You were there by my side, always down for the ride
But your joy ride just came down in flames
'Cause your greed sold me out in shame, mm-hmm
After all of the stealing and cheating
You probably think that I hold resentment for you
But uh-uh, oh no, yeah, you're wrong
'Cause if it wasn't for all that you tried to do
I wouldn't know just how capable
I am to pull through
So I wanna say thank you
'Cause it
Makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
It makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
Makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh-oh-oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
I never saw it coming
All of your backstabbing
Just so you could cash in on a good thing before I realized your game
I heard you're goin' 'round playin' the victim now
But don't even begin feeling I'm the one to blame
'Cause you dug your own grave
After all of the fights and the lies
Guess you're wanting to haunt me
But that won't work anymore
No more, uh-uh, it's over
'Cause if it wasn't for all of your torture
I wouldn't know how to be this way now and never back down
So I wanna say thank you
Small tandem fighter featuring many guns.
Had to change this around from the original intended build cause of being fucked over on bricklink (not PBD) and edited without a working keyboard so I hope you guys still like it. This thing is actually really cool. I'll try to post more images of other angles and perhaps build this one on LDD as I think I'm going to keep this as my new desk model.
As part of the Elemental Empire, Kai commands a squadron of elite Fighters against the Serpentine Rebellion.
This is something I've wanted to build for a very long time, and is based off of the amazing art of @jakeparker - Not only is his Art fantastic, but Mr. Parker actually started #inktober - which I think was actually what prompted our copycat LEGO build Theme months that we have ever year... So thank you mr. Parker, for not just an inspiring piece of work, but inspiring years of theme-months build challenges!
I actually forgot to post this, but originally this was for:
Day 6 and the last build for @rebellug 24 hour LEGO bud challenge Vignweek - today's theme was combine two LEGO themes: in this case, LEGO Starwars and Ninjago. I deviated a bit from the original art work adding in a bit more Samurai armour to better fit the Ninjago theme. As much fun as it would have been to have uber greebly arms...
Thank you everyone for the support during this ummm... interesting week - thank you especially to QuestBuddies, all the people on discord, of course RebelLUG and judges. it's been a hella of a week.
We've been catching up on The Mandalorian this festive season - there are some fun bits and Mando himself is a charming presence, but overall it's just felt uninterestingly competent. Probably just doesn't hit the bits of Star Wars I really like. Still, it's gotten me back in the mood for some far, far away MOCs, so here's a bandit fighter I whipped together.
Here I see the biggest problem with bluerender: It can't handle transparent objects.
In LDD, the canopy is of the "transparent" colour, so the least coloured one. Here it's black and completely reflective. I don't know if bluerender even allows for transparent surfaces, or maybe it's an error with LDD's colours.
I was inspired by [https://www.flickr.com/photos/foibless2k] to experiment with a white background, so I did a simple portrait of the Kendo Fighter :-) This is another one of my favorite minifigs from Series 15.....

Wow, it's already number 81. Time is moving FAST. I'm glad to have started blogging and I don't regret it at all. It's a lot more of work then I even thought it would be and it's hard to find my style or to deliver something that would please both creators and readers. I can only hope that my blog bugs will be fixed soon, so I can TRULY start doing more stuff on it, things that I've been planning for MONTHS. Thanks everyone for your feedbacks and comments. I'll have to leave in July and August for my excavation sites, so I'm gonna try to blog as many items as I can before I leave.
Shippy made for a building challenge presented by Rancorbait :
- Seed parts: 3x www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=57906 Any color.
- unlimited www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2340 Any color.
- No specific theme or genre, just build
Decided to go triangular vertical fighter. Used the seed part as outer shields to the guns on the three struts. The struts themselves are the second part. The centered bubble canopy opens and reveals a comfy pilot seat.
Equipped with a wide laser beam, SPECTREs are efficient at scorching large area and taking down bigger targets. They are often seen rolling, creating hard to avoid laser spirals, increasing their chance at hitting nimble aircrafts.
A lot of fun making this one. two seats for figures inside.
The picture does not convey the 3 light bricks in the front unfortunately. they are activated in the back via a cross axe.
it has been on my desk for more than a year... haha
hope you enjoy!

The KARASU is a unique and heavily customized HIRONDELLE .It is built around a circular energy reactor allowing for extreme range, speed, shield and weapon generation.
The KARASU is equipped with 4 EMP missiles and a rapid fire plasma cannon.
The 3rd version of the circular reactor fighters I made back last year. It fits a fig the same way the hirondelle does. Hope you enjoyed :)
Red Arrows Display Team Full Line Up
The Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, is the aerobatics display team of the Royal Air Force based at RAF Scampton. The team was formed in late 1964 as an all-RAF team, replacing a number of unofficial teams that had been sponsored by RAF commands.
The Red Arrows badge shows the aircraft in their trademark diamond nine formation, with the motto Éclat, a French word meaning "brilliance" or "excellence".
Initially, they were equipped with seven Folland Gnat trainers inherited from the RAF Yellowjacks display team. This aircraft was chosen because it was less expensive to operate than front-line fighters. In their first season, they flew at 65 shows across Europe. In 1966, the team was increased to nine members, enabling them to develop their Diamond Nine formation. In late 1979, they switched to the BAE Hawk trainer. The Red Arrows have performed over 4,600 displays in 56 countries worldwide.
