Before D-Day the Illuminati sent out a group of specialized fighter jets made by escaped Nazi Scientists. The jets were fully electric and equipped with many weapons. Though only 6 were made, they revolutionized the production of underground military vehicles for the Illuminati's army. These jets, have come a long way since then...

Hi guys! I'm back! :D

I made this a few days ago, but I decided to post it today. (And excuse my quickly constructed story, :P). I've been wanting to upload more stuff, but I'm having serious malfunctions with my computer. But more stuff will come soon! :D

Also I got tired of the font I used to write my name so I'll just use an almost invisible signature, till I make a logo. Those things are hard to do! :O

Have a great day :)

A fun little build. A Fredoichi-inspired fighter with Don Solo's Neo-Ice Planet color scheme.

Enjoy!

A Bristol F2 Fighter at the Aerospace Museum in the Bristol suburb of Filton. It was produced during the First World War where it proved it could hold its own against opposing fighters and when the war was over it became the RAF's standard army cooperation machine. The designer of the aircraft was Frank Barnwell.

First red TIE Interceptor, now yellow TIE Fighter!

I am usually not too fond of "yet another TIE variant" but how could I resist a yellow one? Such a beautiful color to go with black and grey! This just screams "utalitarian design" and so fits the mining guild theme perfectly!

It is a relatively simple build, but it already contains some fixes I intend for the v2.0 TF, most notably better shape of the solar panel. Change is minimal but noticeable enough! And I am very slightly... quite proud of the stripe solution ^^

A gentle word, a kind look, a good-natured smile can work wonders and accomplish miracles.

I created the TIE cockpit design based off the Lowell Sphere back in 2011, originally for a TIE Interceptor. I then made this TIE Fighter, and have been occasionally revisiting the designs of the two since. I decided it was time to finally take some pictures and post them online.

Star Wars is what kept me into LEGO from my childhood into my adulthood, so (although I rarely post anything Star Wars related) it's my first love with this hobby.

I wish LEGO produced the pieces to make the TIE in sand blue, but I really prefer the dark grey to light grey, plus some key pieces are only currently available in dark grey.

Redesigned version of the Republic Fighter Tank. More organic looking, beefier engines for speed, better cockpit visibility. I've kept the épée parts as antennas from set 75342 but angled them back. More pictures to follow.

The USMF's elite pilots (those given the rank of Paladin) are a tough breed whose exploits are well known across the galaxy. Though qualified on a wide array of different craft (including ones not used by the USMF) most Paladins operate solo or in small groups; often great distances from allied bases or capital ships and thus have found great use in one-man fighter craft with FTL capability.

Miniaturizing FTL jump drives is a complex and costly process, but the benefits of a faster-than-light starfighter are numerous. For years, the USMF Paladins utilized the AX-20 "Katana" in this role. While a sturdy and fast ship, the Katana's production foundry was completely destroyed in the beginning stages of the Dimension Wars, and as such, it's service numbers dwindled further from the already small amount (in comparison to non-FTL fighters in the fleet).

Starcom Solution's answered the call for a "faster-than-light jack of all trades" by introducing the "Tekkan" (a name of Japanese origin inspired by its spiritual predecessor "Katana"). Starcom Solutions, living up to it's name, conquered the complex issue of small FTL jump drives with a unique solution; the drive systems were built at the capital ship shipyards on Saturn and then shipped to Neptune where quantum technology was used to shrink the units down to a smaller size.

Impressed by the originality of Starcom Solutions' engineering prowess, the USMF quickly requested a Tekkan for immediate trial runs. The first Tekkan produced (which was painted red with white markings as tribute to the Katana) passed its tests with flying colors (no pun intended) and was assigned to Paladin Kira Janus.

The Tekkan features twin heavy repeating lasers (much like those found on Hyperius Industries' "Scorpion"-class heavy fighter) and twin "Mjölnir"-type lightning cannons, which fire thunderous bolts of energy across great distances. These weapons pack quite the punch and require no ammunition, but require a great amount of charge time. If safety protocols are bypassed, the capacitor banks can overcharge and result in a devastating chain reaction.

VENGANZA awacs belongs to the GUERNICA space carrier. The dark orange (38) wings distinguish it from the regular ESCUADRA 26 space fighter using the bright orange (106).

The iconic silhouette of the X-wing fighter is something we recognize immediately, it is an astonishing little fighter. When the wings, or "s-foils", opened in Star Wars for the first time, we knew they meant business.

I was profoundly delighted when I saw the new X-wing fighter from J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It is a beautiful update to the original design. I call the new fighter "Stiletto" because of how the wings open. It looks mean!

A little over a year ago I made some Star Wars spaceship posters (album here), some with Lego, some with scale models. I added two more Lego posters to the series a few days ago. I add another one to the lot.

With this new one I am definitively stepping away from the strict top view design. The Lego X-wing has many gaps looking at it from the top, I wanted to see if another angle would be more interesting. I tried an old image from March 2013 and it looked good enough so I just kept that.

VL-400 Quimera

The Vila Disparador VL-400 “Quimera” is a single-seat, single-engine, all-weather, long-range supersonic jet multi-role strike fighter originally developed for the Imperial Lego Air Force to replace the Freelancer fighter/interceptor. Fast, agile and extremely maneuverable, the Quimera was also operated by the Imperial Lego Naval Aviation, usually from the 130 000 tons Imperial Aircraft carriers.

The plane is considered today the very first “Strike Fighter” operated by the Lego nation, the project evolving from a high-speed interceptor into a fully multi-role capable (for both ground attack and air-to-air missions) fighter.

Featuring the highly advanced R-323 long-range radar, the Quimera was the first plane to employ the Fire-Dragon Air-to-air missile in combat and for many years was also the only fighter capable of firing 4 individual missiles against four different targets at the same time.

The Quimera nine weapons stations (including a small internal bomb bay) had a capacity for up to 8500kg of various weapons, including ground attack guided and unguided missiles or bombs, rockets, air-to-air missiles and other stores. Two 30mm ENA-60 auto-cannons are also carried on the sides of the frontal landing gear.

Despite the dimensions and heavy weight of the fighter, the very powerful V-475 jet engine and the variable geometry wings allows it to achieve a maximum speed of Mach 2.7, with four Firedragon missiles under the fuselage. To help maintain the control at those very high speeds, two movable fins deploy under the fuselage once the plane retracts his wings.

As soon as the Quimera entered service, it started to replace the older but still highly effective “Freelancer” fighter. Pilots found the new aircraft as docile as the previous one, thanks to the new wings and the advanced avionics. Before the Quimera, to perform a certain special role (like Wild Weasel), it was necessary to build a completely new plane for that role or to modify extensively an existing one. The VL-400 was the first multi-role plane, being capable of perform different missions without extensive modifications. On that role, it survived until the VL-27 Flanker fighter appeared.

The Warp Wing Fighter is a set (6915) from the UFO theme released in 1997. I always thought it looks remotely like an X-wing from the Star Wars Universe. The ‘Redesign a set’ competition on Dutch LEGO User Group Lowlug is the perfect opportunity to build a new Warp Wing Fighter with working X-wing’s S-foils.

All the rebel ships flying around in my photostream need something to shoot at ;) So here’s some target practice!

The imperial TIE fighter is such an iconic ship of Star Wars I just had to recreate it (that and the fact I wanted to play out some dog fights with my X-wing ;). I’ve had the shell of the craft built for a while now, but only recently got around to creating a proper interior. I’m not overly happy with how the interior turned out but at least this thing is finished now :D The model features an opening top hatch, enough room to comfortably fit a minifigure and a rear window.

With the vast number of Lego TIE mocs out there I doubt my design is totally original but I made a great deal of effort to work through my own solutions to design issues I encountered and to avoid just coping others. As such I’m happy to call this ‘my’ TIE fighter ;)

As ever, comments (both positive and polite negatives) are very welcome :D

EDIT: I've done an LDD model of the whole TIE which can be downloaded here: www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?s=5332f76633d4d6115c4e...

My version of a TIE Fighter.

Street Fighter VCheat Engine table by nepafu and Dead End Thrills • Aspect ratio fix by jackfuste

This was a WIP forever that was originally intended for Peter's Assymetrical Fighter challange. It was gonna be much wider and much assymetricaller. But the big gun I was gonna add didn't really play out, and I was getting tired of letting it languish, so I sold out and went symmetrical on it. I wanted to use a wider variety of purple parts, but it didn't really flow.

I really like the engine pods, but on the whole the ship is pretty bland from the front.

The main dog fighter of the Secessionist army, the Triple Shrike can go toe to toe with any of The Federations fighters.

Well, this was my next entry into FBTB Steam Wars competition, but unfortunately I was eliminated.

My thoughts in making this was one, what Star Wars CIS fighter would look good as Steampunk (and hadn't been done before)? And two, how could I spin it to be different then the normal grey/gold/brown. So I decided to go with traditional steam engines, but with a fighter jet camouflage scheme.

I'll be heading out with the band for some dates on their European tour which starts Tomorrow! Looking forward to meeting some cool people and getting some more shots when I join the tour!

The Scaevola was used to highlight large enemy cruisers or space stations. Once the fighter marked it's target it had to quickly evade detection and return to it's main force. The marked targets would be highly vulnerable to torpedoes or artillery fire.

I designed this with playability in mind, the cockpit opens up by pulling the rear thruster.

As seen here

An experiment in gun convergence. I wish the vertical "stabilizers" weren't canted inwards, but I can live with it.
