This is one of the worlds most beautiful beaches according to national geographic. The only non tropical beach on the list. Black volcanic sands make it look weird!

After a road trip trough Canberra I was able to capture this beautiful horse standing in a "golden" field just near Belconnen. The clouds, the light and the posing of the horse; Just perfect!

I unearthed some shots from my solo camp near Barron Creek in 2011. The vegetation there is of the riotous mesozoic remnant rainforest type, which is not hard to like.
Went for a walk past Cadwell Farm last night (www.hitchinlavender.com). The light was very kind although with 16mm max zoom, composition was a bit of a struggle...
Hopefully I'll get chance to return with a zoom to get some nice compressed perspective...
