The fields of poppy next to Großglattbach are a fixed date in my landscape photography calender. This has been my fifth visit this season. When I took the shot, all the flowers were in full bloom and there was some nice golden light, striving over the landscape.

Another photograph from my recent visit to a sunflower farm - the last one, I promise! I cropped the original photograph to remove the horizon and sky as I felt having nothing but sunflowers gave it more impact. I could be wrong - I often am!

Summer is officially here. I decided to post something a little more vivid then my normal stuff.

An Amish family out in the field in late June mending fences. - if you zoom in you can se a child with the mom watching the father working.

I had to use my zoom to capture this in order to give them some respect to their dislike of being photographed. So I captured the story with less detail from the distance.

I am enjoying the beutiful island of Ven - Sweden

Taken from Tegg's Nose in Cheshire, this is a view over Macclesfield and west of the County. I stitched a couple of shots together for this... and looking at it again, I think the horizon might be wonky! Oops!

If you look carefully, you can see Jodrell Bank Observatory through the mist. It's the big white disc, near the horizon & towards the left of the photo:

I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect that yesterday's sunshine might be our last for a while. It's raining hard today!

I have a huge amount of shots of two mornings i went shooting last week. Probably about 400 shots i'm really satisfied about.. Problem :-) I got up before sunrise (About 5AM) and went to forests, fields, roads, ... I love that! I'm tired afterwards, but whatever, totally worth it!

So expect a lot of macro sunlight shots in the comings weeks ;-)

This tree sits alone in a wheat field. I see it fairly often and I always want to get a few decent pictures of it. Somehow the opportunity never arises. Today was no different, I was too busy to go shoot it. But I went and did it anyhow.
