Outside Ceasars Palace.... When you've had enough, you've had enough. Not even Donny and Marie Osmonds slick smiles from across the boulevard can persuade you to stay one more day. You're fed up with walking past noisy slot machines wherever you move, and you realize Ceasar never lived here anyway. Large view here.
I've got to tell you, I'm getting really annoyed with this constant wet weather. Who's to blame? Is it you? I know where you live!! Rant rant rant....

It's fast(ish) approaching the midway point for the 365 and I am really feeling it. I have never wanted to take a photo less than I did tonight....and so this was the result of kind of being forced into it. These shots were actually taken by lying the camera on the bed, angling it slightly upwards with one foot whilst the other pressed down the shutter release....hands free! Maybe tomorrow I will put some effort it....maybe.
Okay, I've had enough. What can I do to ensure I never catch flu again? Suspend all human interaction? Done. It's a small price to pay. Next stop the hermitage.
lighting: same as yesterday but one flash either side of camera pointing at my head.
(p.s. I'm actually hopeful that I'll be over the worst of this by tomorrow... light is starting to faintly glimmer at the end of the tunnel. Apologies for moaning.)
Today's and yesterday's low light shots inspired by Daz*. Check him out.
"Scunnert" is the only word to describe the look on this drookit swallow's wee face in the pouring rain at the North Ayrshire Cooncil's coup in Largs this afternoon.

The first bright day in ages, and I couldn't help notice how clean and shiny their boots were. it is odd the things that draw your attention.
well the weather best change soon or i am going to explode with fedupness!!....
I wandered the house all day looking and even tho i have this i'm still not really happy with it.... i didn't really pay proper attention to composition etc either... probably because my heart wasn't in it!...
Any way sun.. if you can hear me............FOR GODSAKE SHOW YOUR FACE!!!... don't you realise there are some crazy fools trying to do a 365 here and we need you before we all give up!!!
Bob awoke early on Tuesday morning. His first thought was "I think I'll have a random day today" so he had one.
Leaving home at 5.20am, Bob soon reached the railway station and decided to jump on the first train which came along and remain on board until the terminus.
Within ten minutes Bob was on the 5.36 to Glasgow, where he decided to head for the bus station and jump on a random bus.
Having selected a bus stance at random, Bob handed the driver a random amount of money (this turned out to be £14 plus a few coppers) and asked the steerer of the bus to chuck him off when it ran out.
Just short of two hours later, Bob was shown the door and soon found himself wandering around a remote place which somehow seemed vaguely familiar.
After a while of trudging along a wee single track road in the torrential rain, Bob decided to ask a couple of folk, who were clearly on a long-distance hike, where he was. "Brija Orky" he was told, by someone who was obviously from the European mainland.
Bob was now confused, as it seemed to have taken only two hours to reach the Czech Republic.
Along the road a wee dod, he was informed by an elderly chap, who carried a Stars and Stripes umbrella, that the nearby body of water "lacked Allah"
Bob was unsure whether he should pretend this was a good thing or a bad thing, so said nothing, though it did cross his mind that maybe an Allah was some sort of fish: instead he wandered over to the waters edge, waited forty minutes until the rain went off and took a wee photae.
Further along, Bob found a gate and again wandered down to the water, determined to spot some of these elusive Allah, but heavy rain, coupled with small hailstones made this an impossible task. Such treacherous weather, these poor Czech Republicans have to suffer - I'd move abroad if I lived there.
Bob had had enough and decided it was time to leave, so headed for the gate, where he encountered a fellow-sufferer. Speaking of the foul weather, Bob enquired if heavy rain was usual for this part of the world. "Aye, it pishes doon aw the time, so it dis" he was told by the Republican, in an accent which sounded as if he could have come straight from the Inverness area of Scotland.
Anyhow, less than an hour later, Bob found himself back where he started, only to discover the place had not one, but two names. Not only was it called Brija Orky, but the railway sign clearly showed it to be called Drochaid Urchaid as well.
A steep climb saw the railway station achieved, where Bob noticed he could travel back to Glasgow. On board he also learned that for only £19.40, yes - nineteen pounds and forty new wee pennies, he would be allowed to complete his journey. Failure to comply would see him making travel arrangements from Taigh an Droma Uarach station, pronounced Tin Drum - quite apt, as Bob had just told the money-collector to beat it.
Having reluctantly stumped up this vast sum, Bob had time - and plenty of it - to wonder why anyone would pay such amounts of money for a service which takes 40 minutes longer than the bus.
Strange lot, these Czech Republicans
Jings, I've just discovered I do ramble on. The sad thing is: I could go on even longer, but won't. My sincere apologies and a copy of my latest book to anyone who waded through all that.
Power Station B in North Geelong sat vacant for nearly fifty (50) years then, in 2015, it became Australia's largest legal street art gallery featuring large-scale murals by numerous artists on its exterior and interior surfaces.
The 3000-square-metre structure, set on a six-acre plot facing Corio Bay, featured well over 300 artworks in the industrial space from local, national and international notoriety.

OK people, after so many years / of having to tolerate ill-tempered characters / with much too big self-esteem, / and lack of senses / I have retired. // No TV, mobile, or lap-top. // If you want to see me / then, one at a time please / and with forewarning / at least 2 days before / so that I can take some precautions. // The dog has no name / but even more teeth.

Is this going to be the new normal?
I for one certainly don't hope so. I think it is time for me to start posting again. #1 this virus has gotten to us all. It has made me lazy. Depressed to a point. Not to the point that it wants to make me sick or do anything stupid, but to a point where I don't have any drive. I seem to be in a fog.
People, especially the elderly, which Deb and I are, are afraid to go out in public. The numbers and the media at large have made it look when we step out the door we will die. I don't really believe that but that is what thy seem to portray.
So this photo is me at the local blood bank. I had to drop off a pint and they of course make you wear a mask. My thoughts on a mask is it's ok if you think you need it. Also if you have the virus wear one. I don't want your germs. The rest of us I don't need it. This came off the moment I went out the door.
I am one of the lucky ones that is allowed to work from home. So I gathered all my computer stuff from the office and not I work in comfy shorts and a T shirt. Not quite the same as being at the office.
Our live has changed a lot. We get all groceries and and doog food at Pick Up curbside. Even the Total wine has curbside PU. Never have to leave the car.
We get a lot of stuff with UPS and the Amazon truck.
We have not been out to a resturant in a long time. We miss that. It might seem strange seeing everyone inside wearing these dam masks but it is what it is.
So that's all fo now. Deb and I are fine Virus wise. Mentally, not like we should be.
Stay safe and wash your stinking hands.
Boy I get tired of that too.
And that's a fine female enlisted soldier greeting me at the door. However, she was not alive. You need to bring your passport to get in here, but I just showed my FedUp badge and it sufficed.
...I know, the titles get worse :0)
A candid shot of a young lady sitting in a vintage car looking very very bored.
Bonnie spends a lot of her time like this. She does it mainly when she is fed up (as she was on this occasion, what with me clicking away!) and also when she wants to look non-plussed, like when she is trying to pretend she hasn't noticed we have food.
Sorry for my lack of visits to your streams. I have been very uninspired and very tired. I really need to get out and take some more pictures, particularly of strangers.
Oh, I have a test drive of a car tomorrow, a Nissan 350Z, to try to decent whether or not I want to sell my car (Golf GTi). I do like my car, but I never keep cars. I have had this one for 2 years, and that is the longest I have had one by a year! The new car I get this time would actually leave me in profit, which I may need to cover some unemployment :(
Anyways, I hope you all have a fun and stress free weekend :)
