Margo, Stepford Wife Edition, giving a look that says, "enough pictures!"

I'm really struggling with this 366 project, feeling very uninspired and under pressure :(

Right now I can't see how I'll make it to the end of the year..........

I've had a headache for the last few days.... suppose that doesn't help.

Anyway it was a mobile upload or nothing today :/

Fucked Up @ Club Europa - Brooklyn, NYC - 6/22/07

The title says it all on this one. I love the figure and the pose; a real gem!

Lighting: Softbox on subject from right and anothor lighting the wall behind.

My friend actually got a real black eye during some sporty activity. I decided to use her as "a victim of domestic violence"...I hope you see what I see: a wife or a girlfriend who's fed up with taking punches and who's going to give it back with interests.

In March of 1999, Perry signed this declaration, honoring the Confederacy and denying that slavery was the primary cause of the Confederacy, the primary reason given by the Texas Secession Convention for seceding, and the cause of the Civil War.

The Senate of the State of Texas

SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 526

WHEREAS, April is the month in which the Confederate States of America began and ended a four year

struggle for states' riqhts, individual freedom, and local government control; and

WHEREAS, The State of Texas declared herself to be a free and independent state and

subsequently joined the Confederate States of America of which it was a member state from 1861 until

1865; and

WHEREAS, The battlefields, monuments, museums, and other historical sites to be found in Texas

allow our citizens and visitors to remember, study, and appreciate the men and women of that unique

time in the history of Texas and the nation; and

WHEREAS, The flag of the State of Texas was carried by Texas Confederate soldiers in every

major battle of the War Between the States and the state contributed over 115,000 soldiers and sailors

to the service of the Confederate States of America; and

WHEREAS, During the period of reconciliation, Texas Confederate veterans became instrumental in

the continued development of our state and local governments and our institutions of higher learning; and

WHEREAS, We honor our past and draw from it the courage, strength, and wisdom to go forward

into the future together as Texans and Americans; and

WHEREAS, The State of Texas has long recognized her Confederate history and the leaders who

made sacrifices on behalf of the Confederate cause; and

WHEREAS, The Texans who served in the War Between the States are memorialized in almost

every county in the state, and many cities and counties in the State of Texas bear the name of

Confederate veterans; and

WHEREAS, It is important for all Texans to reflect upon our state's past and to respect the devotion

of her Confederate leaders, soldiers, and citizens to the cause of Southern liberty; and

WHEREAS, In years since the war, the morally abhorrent practice of slavery has in the minds of

many Texans become the prime motivation of Southern soldiers, despite the fact that 98 percent of

Texas Confederate soldiers never owned a slave and never fought to defend slavery; and

WHEREAS, Politically correct revisionists would have Texas children believe that their Confederate

ancestors fought for slavery when in fact most Texans joined the Confederate armed forces to defend

their homes, their families, and their proud heritage as Texans; and

WHEREAS , Confederate Memorial Day in April is a time for all Texans to honor those men and

women who died for Texas, and also all the Texans who came afterward and benefitted from their

legacy of honor and devotion to our state; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 76th Legislature, hereby recognize April as

Confederate History and Heritage Month in the State of Texas and encourage all Texas schools and

citizens to join in efforts to become more knowledgeable of the role of the Confederate States of

America in the history of our country.

Rick Perry

President of the Senate

I hereby certify that the above Resolution was

adopted by the Senate on March 30, 1999.

But, then, what else can we expect from a governor who thinks that Texas should leave the possibility of seceding again open?

Dear Dad,

It would be so nice if you called me once in a while.

The newly merged Shipping Giant reveals new livery for its fleet.

Herlong california.. used to be Jimbobs, one of my favorite stores..

Ike was President and all seemed peaceful. Instead of going home, I took advantage of the free MATS flights and finally saw some of the sights I had wanted to see throughout my youth. The big Connie landed at what was then USNAS Anacostia. What I remember most was the sight behind me.

The old streetcars took me to where I wanted to go, sights I wanted to see. I was alone, but I had a lot of fun.

I spent about three weeks hopping MATS planes and flying from one area to another. One of the planes I enjoyed most was not a MATS aircraft, but the guys in Operations were friendly and booked me on a NEPTUNE P2V to NAS Norfolk.

Norfolk was quite a sight, the ships and naval station, a mass array of U.S. Navy on display.

When we landed, a couple of guys on the flight crew invited me to have a few beers at the EM Club. It was called the AERODROME and it was huge. There were floor shows, all types of music, friendly "servers" and the old pinball machines. It was quite an evening.

Today was the 06.00 460 Coventry - London vcs service i was 45 up and when i got to VCS only 2 people ( very nice girls ) were the only ones to say thankyou..even the young lady who i sold a tiket to and let her get home didnt say thankyou...manners cost nothing even if your tired or fedup... Taken a while back, so then it is not part of the 52 Weeks project. I am so behind anyway.

I had not planned to post it first, but I have not been very active lately, and I felt like saying something.

Lots of "I" I would rather erase. Am completely fedup with selfportraits and longing to take new photographs with models, which might be possible only next month due to finals and other uni constraints.

Hiatus time in photography. Questioning (almost) everything. Feel like walked on lots of differents roads. Everywhere/Nowhere. And then not really focused on what I (all very paradoxical) want to/can do. It seems that there is something hard to get beyond. Harder than ever had imagined. Discouraged yet hopeful.

First of all, need to find a proper little name. :)

But still... as much as I can, I will keep commenting and faving all your wonders dear flickr contacts!

Harassed Photographer, Taking photos in a public place of my Grandchildren.

I was asked by a member of the public why i was taking photos of children in a play area, I wasn't taking photos of any other children there I was taking photos of my Grandchildren and nosey person I use a zoom lens to zoom in so I specifically don't get other children in the pictures, not like dozens of others there that day using phones and point and shoot cameras, ipads that take a wide photo generally and will have other people children in there photos. did you ask the dozens of other people there why they were taking photos ????? well fuming

"Fedup" has been a landmark for train commuters for the better part of a decade.

These are some of the cameras which I have used and shape my collection of images.

Each has played its part and will be detailed in further postings. There have been other wish I shall describe here and give examples of their results and which set of mine the image can be found. Please feel free to look at my sets, all comments would be appreciated.

1. I used a box camera from 1950 until early August 1955. This in fact is not my camera, which went to camera heaven many years ago, but one I purchaeds recently for the princely sum of £1

2 In August 1955 I purchsaed a used Purma Plus, whiwas used untli 1958 and for some unknown reason in July 1961. This was a unique camera, fixed focus, fixed aperature, 3 speeds. Again this is not the original, but could be since mine was very battered. Puchased recenly for £10

3 Montanus Ultraflex Twins Lens Reflex, bought used August 1961 and in use for black and white until 1970. This is 5. Reflexa sinle lens reflex. No longer Relexathe original

4 Carl Zeiss Werra. I borrowed one of these for three weeks in April 1962 when the owner was overseas. Rangerfinder camera with the shutter windin being a ring round the lens. My first experience of 35mm and colour.

Reflexa silgle lens reflex, no longer with uus. A Dixon's special using a Mamiya body coupled with a canons. The shutter was a disaster, two cloths blades running across the film plane which never in sync. A shame really some the 1.9 Canon lens was very good. Used with difficuly up until October 1968 when the body was consigned camera hell and the Canon lens retained.

6 Miranda D SLR. Lent to me by Dixons in April 1963 whilst the reflexa was being repaired.

7 Exa 500. Having got fedup with Reflexa I bought a new Exa 500 body in October 1968. The lenses from the Relexa were Exata fitting so were swapped over. The Exa contiued to be used until 1983, although in may cases as a supplement to my Rollei XF35. This is the original camera and lenses.

8 Unknown rangefinder camera borrowed from my fahter. Used for overseas trips where it was not practical istake the Exa. In use mainly in 1978/79

9 Rollei XF35 bought in 1980 when I was on a six weeks assignment in New York. Used intially for otherseas trips and later to supplement to Nikon EMs. Probably last used on mid 1980s. This is the original camera

10. In 1983 the first of two Nikon EMs was bought. These served me weill up until the late 1990s. Their achillees heel was the rewind and speed setting mechanisims. The forst one went for scrap, the second PXed against the Nikon F-500. The lens were carr=ied forward to the F-500.

11 Nikon F-500. A real Nikon bought in the latee 1990s to replace the second of the EMs. Continued to be used until went digital in 2003. Has recently b

een resurrected to take black and white

12 .Olymous C720US. My first digital camera purchased in March 2003 and used until 2005. Given away eventually

13 Dimage Z35. Bought in 2005 to replace the C720 whe I wanted a longer focus lens. It had an design problem where an internal screw came loose affecting the wider angle facility - it just got wider and wider with resulting blacking out of the images edges. Given to my four year older granddaughter this year to develop her skills.

14 Fuji Finepix S6500fd. Bought on 2007 this is my current camera. Is similar to operation as a SLR but fixed zoom lens.
