Well... Im not sure its a dog running ahead. Im not sure in anything, because I DID NOT SEE any dogs or any subjects on that road ahead, it was empty when I was making this picture! Only when I've got the image on a screen, its appeared...:-)
Ok, you'll say Im again in a mystical mood... Probably... No pushing, decide yourself what you can see here ;-)
Now well - I would love to share the inforamation I've got from the website "Misterious Britain & Ireland":
There are various theories to explain the phenomena and they seem to have many common traits from sighting to sighting.
In appearance the phantoms vary from region to region, but it is not uncommon for them to be described as calf sized, with saucer eyes and a shaggy coat. Phantom dogs are not always black however, the one that is supposed to haunt the area around Cawthorpe and Haugham in Lincolnshire, is described as white, but still has saucer eyes and is as big as calf. The Cu Sith, the traditional fairy dog of Scotland is dark green in colour, with a shaggy tail up its back. Black dogs are more often than not associated with a specific location such as an old trackway or lane, this is sometimes reflected in the name of the routeway, although not every 'Black Dog Lane' has a tradition of the haunting.
There have been some attempts at classification; the folklorist Theo Brown divided the black dog phenomena into three separate types A, B and C. (A) Being a shape-shifting demon dog; (B) being a dark black dog calf sized with shaggy fur; and (C) a dog that appears in time with certain ancient festivals in specific areas of the country. Katherine Briggs, the renowned folklorist, splits these further into demon dogs, the ghosts of human beings and the ghosts of dogs in their own right............
........Black dogs often seem to haunt ancient lanes, trackways, crossroads, old churchyards and prehistoric sites. Many of these places were associated with local superstitions and the uncanny, they are liminal places, where the veil between worlds was thought to be thin. The haunts of the black dogs are also features said to denote ley lines, it has been suggested that they represent some form of energy or natural phenomena moulded by the mind into an archetype of the black dog. A great deal of work has been done by earth mystery researchers to suggest that certain geophysical conditions may affect the human mind. These places were recognised by ancient man, and that is why black dogs (as some form of archetype) appear at places of ancient sanctity. This same theory has been applied to other unexplained phenomena.
Gallows sites (often crossroads) were also common black dog haunts, the black dog was often seen as the spirit of the executed criminal, such as the dog said to haunt a gallows site in Tring, Hertfordshire: An old woman was drowned for witchcraft at Tring in the year 1751. ..........
.........Black dogs are also seen as guardians of treasure, especially in Scotland. A black dog was said to guard treasure buried under a standing stone near Murthley in Perthshire, here we have an account of a black dog at an ancient site and as a guardian of treasure........"

A few weeks ago, I took this photo while taking an early evening walk around Vandusen Botanical Garden. Although I do not like cool temperatures, I do love the changing colours in the leaves during autumn. Have a great weekend, everyone!

I am featured as a part of an article on Flickr in the March issue of What Digital Camera magazine. I was thrilled when approached about doing an interview for the feature. Now, seeing the results, I am filled with emotions- happiness, amazement, shock and joy (just to name a few). It is still hard for me to believe and I can’t wait to get a ‘real’ copy in my little hands! Being in a magazine is a lifelong dream for me and I am so excited to share this experience with me Flickr friends and fans. Without all of you this would have remained only a dream! I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for helping to make this girl’s dream a reality!
I copied the text below for those of us who do not have superhero eyes. I hope some of you enjoy learning a little more about me.

"Carolina is a graphic artist and self-confessed 'computer geek' who has one of the most unusual Flickr photostreams, in that all of the photographs are of her. Her stunning looks and often provocative poses has also made it one of the most visited too, with nearly three million views. It isn't an original idea of course, but what elevates Carolina's work is the skill and artistry involved in their creation.
'I love having my photo taken' confesses Carolina, who discovered Flickr through a friend. 'In the beginning I thought it would be fun to post photos of myself wearing my collection of Juicy Couture clothing. After my photos began to get more popular I started pursuing a lifelong dream of modeling. I grew up in a family that was always taking photos and I have always loved being on both sides of the camera'
Carolina studied photography at college, and is an avid consumer of fashion photography. Some of her pictures are self-portraits but most are a collaboration with her partner Allen. 'We work well together,' she continues. 'I come up with most of the ideas, including styling, locations and poses. I also do any Photoshop post processing. Allen is great at directing and shooting.'
Carolina is very prolific. 'I like to post a new photo everyday. It keeps me motivated. My mind is always thinking of new ideas. At weekends we go out to locations I've thought of during the week.'
Carolina and Allen use an Olympus E1 and E500. 'I love the Four-Thirds system and have several lenses,' she enthuses. 'We are also lucky enough to have a studio in our home, with both continuous and flash lighting systems, and a 10ft backdrop which is kept erected all of the time, as if it were furniture. That motivates us for those unplanned shots too.'"

Keeping up with the trend from my last two celebrations, I had to do just one more of these this time around. And not to belittle the other great creators I've seen, but I think I've saved the best for last. These are some of my favorites out of the featured builders, and they really could use your support. So give them a try, favorite a few pictures, add some comments, and maybe even add to their follower count. I've had so much support over the years I've been here, I really want to give back and help others reach these incredible milestones.
toaukume is a builder just starting out, but wow, what a start. Their builds and stories are just all so clever, and they use plenty of brilliant techniques and color schemes. Ukume is definitely deserving of being here.
upsidedownvahi (hopefully you find where they got the name) is another brilliant MOCist with a wide variety of characters. Each creation is built and posed so well that you can easily see the personality behind them. I particularly like their use of tentacles and Kraata as hair pieces. They also have a few techniques that were new to me in femMOC design.
When I first saw stubs4limbs's Surin, I was utterly blown away. The color scheme was so well balanced, the detail was masterfully done, and he just had so much character to him. And the rest of stubs' builds are just as great. They have a great mastery over the perfect balance of detailing, enough to look interesting, but not confusing and distracting. They also have some great photography.
Have I ever mentioned that I'm a sucker for elemental motifs? Well, the moment Hawkflight Exserion's Makaen crossed my homepage, I just about cried at the beauty of it. Hawk also has so many well photographed, well designed builds that stun me every time. And each one has an interesting and intricate backstory and personality that just makes it all the better.
formanjalen has been another avid supporter of my builds for a while now (they even have their own Skull Spider Revamp crawling around their gallery), and I really wanted to return the favor. They have some pretty impressive revamps in a style that reminds me much of MrBoltTron. Each one is carefully crafted to show the personality of the character portrayed, and they've been asking for feedback they just aren't getting. And just to prove what a great guy they are, they've done their own Follower Feature over on their gallery. Now I'm just waiting for more pictures of that lizard man. :P
Well, that concludes this Follower Feature. I did my best to showcase some of those I felt deserved and needed it, but I really wish I could get to everyone. Good news is, at this rate, I'll be doing this all over again next month! So stick around, keep being awesome, and don't be afraid to show off some of your own builds in the comments below.
I still have one more surprise this time around, once I have time to finish it. Odds are it will come after I finish posting my 350 Follower Special of the Protectors.
