Yay! My night photograph, so eloquently titled "slushy popcorn" was featured on the back cover of TAG Magazinein their premiere online issue.
*The Candaba Viaduct is a 5 km (3 mi). bridge passing over the Candaba Swamps in the North Luzon Expressway.The Candaba viaduct is raised over the Candaba swamp which keeps the highway open to traffic, even when the swamp gets flooded during the rainy season. It has a very nice view of Mt. Arayat, which is the lone mountain in Central Plain.

First of all, huge thank you to everyone who has made Hoto my most popular MOC on Flickr and Deviantart (I tend to not include Toa Onuku because getting featured is cheating). I guess I never realized how popular she could be, but it's cool to see so many people like her. She was a fun little build and has been a fun character to play. Rahkshi hugs for everyone!
There's not much in the way of improvements this time. I just swapped out a few pieces like her spines and sides for silver/light grey parts to keep her color scheme a little more consistent. She's supposed to be completely silver and red, so I'm slowly getting there.
If you ever wanted to meet Hoto "in person," come and join us at Corpus Rahkshi over on BZPower. It's a great text-based RPG and I've had a lot of fun with it creating characters like Hoto.

I was caught off guard here on a historic tour of London. Military planes started flying low and it hit me, it was Her Majesty’s birthday (it’s the only time this happens in London). They do this every year to mark her day as the Queen awaits on the world’s most famous balcony at Buckingham Palace. What you can see here are the Red Arrows, the aerobatics display team of the Royal Air Force. Their stunts are unrivalled the world over and are a true privilege to witness. Hope you all like the pic 😊

The Netherlands is featured in this false-colour image captured by the Copernicus Sentinel-2 mission. This image was processed in a way that included the near-infrared channel, which makes vegetation appear bright red.
Amsterdam, the capital city of the country, is visible towards the top of the image, on the edge of the IJmeer lake. The city’s complex network of canals can be seen in the image, and the city is said to have over 1000 bridges.
Rotterdam is the second largest city in the Netherlands and is visible in the lower left, along the banks of the New Meuse River, which divides the municipality into its northern and southern parts. Rotterdam’s port is the largest port in Europe, stretching over 40 km in length and covering over 10 000 hectares.
The Hague is north of the port, visible along the North Sea coast. The Hague is home to the Dutch seat of government, and the city also hosts the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.
To the north of The Hague is the coastal town of Noordwijk, home to ESA's European Space Technology Research Centre (ESTEC). ESTEC is ESA’s technical centre where new missions are designed, their industrial development is managed and, in some cases, the spacecraft and instruments are tested.
On Sunday 6 October, ESTEC is hosting its annual Open Day, where it will open its doors and give general public the chance to meet astronauts, space experts and get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of ESA’s largest establishment. The Open Day is now fully booked.
The theme of this year’s event is ESA to the Moon – where Dutch ESA astronaut André Kuipers will be joined by pioneering Apollo astronauts Walt Cunningham, who flew on the first crewed Apollo mission, and Rusty Schweickart, who was the first person to fly the Lunar Module and use an Apollo lunar spacesuit for a spacewalk.

Nice traditional Newfoundland biscuit box house in Trinity East, Newfoundland. A larger example of this style of home, this example boasts a double set of full length bay windows and a side porch, two features not seen on all examples of this style. The double bay windows really add to the look of this house.
It is listed for its architecture. The most distinctive feature on the outside of the house was that its roof was made to look like an English Cottage thatched roof. As can be seen in the photos taken in January, 2009, the roof has been covered with modern asphalt shingles and the house sported a "For Sale by Owner" sign. The Mercer fireplace in the first floor living room, customary in Ward Wellington Ward houses, is an exceptionally impressive one depicting St. George and the Dragon.
In January 2011, the Garrett House was purchased by a private buyer and is currently in the beginning stages of being restored.

There's some work done to my place which entailed emptying out some storage areas. I found my old 35mm film cameras and supplies and had a memory fest. This is a late 1950s Ansco Super Memar on the left and a late 1980s Kodak V35 K60 snapshot on the right. More photos to follow. A friend and regular of the Axis, Shawna, saw the Ansco and said she had a similar camera from Germany! ( the Ansco is an American version of the Afga Silleto ) She still has I and wants to bring it in. Look for a photo soon !
