so many definitions of that word. fearless. the song has meant so much to me and it applies to so much. I had the urge to take a fearless photo tonight. I tried a few shots of myself but none of them worked out. As I was walking back to the computer room I heard Figaro meowing in the bathroom. He wanted me to put a little bit of water into the bathtub so he can drink it. Just like it was a mudpuddle out in the wild I'm sure. Anyways this is tonight's definition of fearless.
No matter how big the jump is, Vox always gives it his all. This little horse has such a fearless spirit. Spent the day working him over some singles and oxers. Little did I realize he would fly over any triple I put him in front of as well. He really is his mother’s son. Such a good boy!
Again, I only have two slots in the horse trailer. I was kind of leaning towards taking Sol and Stolas, but Vox is making a great show of his natural talents. May need to get a second opinion.
sooo once again i made this for my myspace;
and it's definitly not my best, but i really like how this turned out.
This is absolutely one of the best waterfalls in Washington state. The sheer size of it is too impressive thus I have to include myself for the scale. Yeah standing there with the rainbow in front of my eyes and the strong water vapors rushing to my face was a very unforgettable experience.

Each of us have a part to play as we take on the waves of disease, social unrest, environmental disasters, and all that 2020 has put upon us. We must remain fearless as we look these challenges head on, confident... together we rise.

The bull of Wall Street is a tourist mad house. Really, I was a bit surprised when I saw the throng of people crowded around it to make a selfie. In a sense, maybe I should not have been surprised. After all, I sought it out. But it is still a bit of a weird thing, to elbow in among a crowd of people so you can claim your "I was here" selfie, as if that image somehow further validates the experience. I am not criticizing it, I just find it interesting.
What I did not know about the bull was that there is a second sculpture, that of Fearless Girl placed so that she is bravely standing in front of the about-to-charge bull. According to the plaque (always read the plaques) her presence there is at least in part a statement about the presence of women (or lack of) in the financial institutions of Wall Street. But when it comes to the tourists, Fearless Girl has no problems regarding discrimination as the crowd flocks around her for their same selfies.
I crowded in to the crowd and initially got a pinhole image of the bull and then stepped back a bit. One thing that always fascinates me about such places is watching the crowd and how they interact with the attraction and the behavior of people at such places. I wanted to make a long exposure of the Fearless Girl stoically and resolutely standing there in the face of both the bull and the tourists and I had this image in mind: her from behind with the blur of the ever shifting and never stationary crowd around her. But to do so I would have to insert myself into the photographs of dozens of people over the span of the four minute exposure it was going to take. Normally I shy away from this sort of thing. I prefer to be the unobtrusive observer. But on this day I basically decided, hell with it I am going for the image. After all, nobody here is really concerned about getting in each other's images anyway, so why should I be. It might not have been courage on par with Fearless Girl but it took a bit of courage at least on a small level. In fact, that was one of the changes I tried to work in my process during my visit to New York: to let go of some of my inhibitions, to not let my desire for unobtrusivity keep me from the image I envisioned, to not get a couple blocks down the road kicking myself for not making the photo.

Pouks hunts only the largest and most dangerous Rahi! Using his Rhotuka bolo spinner, he entangles them in bonds of energy to bring them down. Fearless, there is no beast Pouks will not pursue and tame.
Not a very exciting MOC. but it was a fun warmup to break out of a dry spell
This guy spent the whole set in a pinstripe suit while hidden behind a Mexican Wrestling Mask. Very unusual to say the least. =)
