I started to name this "Over the Hill," because of a momentous birthday that I am going to experience soon - one I have been absolutely dreading all this year - but then, I thought about one of my favorite Scriptures and changed my attitude and title. Let me share it with you:

It looks like they have no fear of heights, these cows above Andermatt in the Swiss Alps. In fact, their pasture won't go down too steeply, it is just from above that it looks like an abyss!

The larger village Andermatt is almost completely hidden from view here (that is the place we were descending to) and further up the valley you can see the village Hospental. Both places are situated in the Urserental (the name of the valley). We are close here to the famous Gotthardpass.

Again a classic point of view of a classic subject. It seems I like it the classic way ... Since I am on Flickr I learned that it is perfectly fine to imitate other photographers .... the variation comes through imperfect imitation ;) The title and quote I took from a Pink Floyd song, I like the lyrics. Hope it works with the image, for me it does. Just a tryout.
