This switch checks to see if the hood is up on the car. If it is then the car doesn't go anywhere. It's temporarily shorted out as we think it's faulty
I had noticed that the coolant level in my reservoir had been dropping slightly and initially thought it must have been an air lock in the heater that had cleared. But then it dropped again so time to investigate and I found coolant around and below the radiator cap. I ran the engine up to temperature and sure enough it was leaking from the radiator cap, especially after you switch the engine off as it cooled down. Upon investigation the metal spring under the rubber seal has lost it's springiness so it is not making a good seal under pressure. It appears that the temperature has annealed the spring which is not good as I have only run the engine about a dozen times. The faulty cap on the right is made by Aeroline and is to be avoided. I've replaced it with a Quinton Hazell cap and hope this one lasts longer.

faulty light in tunnel/walkway between old and new buildings. Should be replaced with bunker light to keep out insects.
Just a faulty shutter button that shut the camera off when the shutter button is clicked, this is the amount of replacement part is required. Very wasteful.
My character designs for "Faulty Choirs" - a music video I designed, directed and animated for OSYMYSO were commended at the 2009 Digital Artist Awards in Shoreditch, London.
They are on display as part of a Digital Artist exhibition, running at Blackall Studios, Shoreditch, London, from Friday 2nd October to Saturday 10th October.

First time I had attached a speedlite to my D3200 and discovered it had a fault, for some reason whenever the flash was attached and powered on it would do this to my pictures. Ended up returning the camera and getting it exchanged but just looking through the pictures it took I came across this one, it made me chuckle as it inadvertently placed well.
My Pentacon Praktica LB's film winder is faulty which the takeup spool is slipping when I wind the film after each exposure resulting in overlapped exposures. On this 1988 expired Ilford FP4 B&W 35mm film nearly all the exposures overlapped one another creating this artistic looking photo collage of planes which to my opinion actually looks really cool! :D
Issue Date: May 13, 1918
The first airmail stamps were issued in 1918. The U.S. Airmail Service was born that year, when two feeble 90-horsepower Curtiss Jenny airplanes departed from New York and Washington. Due to a faulty compass, the Washington flight landed way off course (Maryland as opposed to New York). But the New York flight was flawless, and Airmail Service began.
The Act of May 6, 1918, authorized the Post Office Department to carry the mail by airplane. This ruling necessitated a new stamp – one of distinctive design and color. A red frame and blue vignette (design) on white paper created a patriotic “red, white and blue” airmail issue (the 24¢ Curtiss Jenny). The airmail rate was set at 24¢ per ounce and thus the first airmail stamp was born!
In accordance with a new order in June of 1918, the airmail rate was reduced to 16¢ for up to the first ounce (this charge included a special delivery fee) and 6¢ for each additional ounce. This rate change produced a new stamp which reflected the same design as the original, but was done in only one color instead of three (16¢ Curtiss Jenny).
In the latter part of 1918, the airmail rate was again reduced. The fee was 6¢ per ounce (eliminating the additional 10¢ special delivery charge of the previous stamp). The original airmail design was used once again, but the single color was changed from green (on the 16¢ issue) to orange (6¢ Curtiss Jenny).
One sheet of the stamps have it where the blue biplane was printed upside down. I wish I had one, but at $16,000 now, its really hard to come by, don't ya think? At least I have this one!

How they can gnaw through your wires
A recent house fire was caused by faulty electrical wires likely due to being chewed by squirrels. The fire department stated that sometimes squirrels will chew through aluminum wires and that will cause the meter box to catch fire. Squirrels can easily gain access to your home via small holes, vents or chimneys left unattended and can cause issues with your electrical system. Many power outages are caused by the furry little creatures.
Wilson County, Tennessee has become a central focus in the effort to preserve and rebuild numbers of a hurting bat population. The Indiana bat has become endangered and the numbers have fallen almost 80% in areas of the state. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has erected nine artificial trees in the area to help attract Indiana bats that migrate to Wilson County from hibernation caves nearby. Bats play a very important role in the local ecosystem, especially by preying on insects and other agricultural pests.

Severed wire causes electrical fire, likely cause by squirrel
A squirrel chewing through an aluminum line likely is to blame Thursday for causing a Knoxville house fire.
The Knoxville Fire Department contained the blaze at 2329 Woodbine Ave. to the attic and back section. It started at the meter box, apparently after a squirrel chewed through a grounding wire that fed into the meter box, according to KFD Capt. D.J. Corcoran. Read more

Wilson County has become central in an effort to rebuild numbers of an endangered species of bat whose demise could affect your pocketbook.
Indiana bats have dwindled by more than 80% in priority counting areas of Tennessee in the last eight years, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. There were 2,325 Indiana bats recorded in those counting areas in 2019 compared with more than 12,700 in 2011. See more

So 15 days later and £160 lighter in my pocket, I finally got my D50 back from Nikon after it broke on holiday in Cornwall.
Even though I mainly shoot film nowadays, I was glad to get it back and return to the world of instant photographs.
I would recommend anyone who has a faulty DSLR especially a Nikon, to by pass the local camera shop who would charge £60 plus just to send it off, to go direct to the manufacturer for diagnosis and repair.
I suffered a broken shutter unit resulting in a flashing "ERR" message on the lcd screen.
My collection is complete again.
My better half had her faulty heart repaired one week ago today. If you told me then that she would be home and back to ( almost ) normal I wouldn't have believed you. I have no words to express my gratitude for #nyulangonemedicalcenter and the AMAZING #drgalloway. We are so blessed to be in such good hands.
