It's not my fault that the world spins around
That we sometimes have misty eyes
We sometimes fall to the ground
And inside we keep our cries.....b. mikic for a good friend Axel....
BUT IT`S NOT MY FAULT !!!!!!!

Pamukkale, Akköy, Denizli/Türkiye
Meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a natural site and attraction in south-western Turkey in the Denizli Province. The ancient city of Hierapolis was built on top of the white “castle” which is in total about 2700 meters long and 160m high.
Pamukkale is located in Turkey’s Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which enjoys a temperate climate over the greater part of the year.
The tectonic movements that took place in the fault depression of the Menderes river basin did not only cause frequent earthquakes, but also gave rise to the emergence of a number of very hot springs, and it is the water from one of these springs, with its large mineral content that created Pamukkale.
The water contains large amounts of hydrogen carbonate and calcium, which leads to the precipitation of calcium bi-carbonate. The effect of this natural phenomenon leaves thick white layers of limestone and travertine cascading down the mountain slope resembling a frozen waterfall.

View east, with the Virgin Anticline at the lower half of the picture, represented b y the ridges of the then upper triassic Shinarump member of the Chinle formation at the bottom and the red cliffs of the Navajo sandstone (lower Jurassic) above. The gray band in the center is the Hurricane fault scarp that extends northwards for over 80 miles (lower Permian) the light colored ridge immediately above is again the Shinarump sandstone ( same sequence as at the bottom of this picture), and the light red ridge in the back is the Navajo sandstone, both not affected by the Hurricane fault (a normal fault), wheres as the layers in the foreground dropped down (after being folded into the anticline).

My dear Athena helped me to update me a little and here is my new version!
"I made my own favorite trips,
I experienced all the wounds that life gave me.
I counted errors and corrects but they came out confused
because I never found out who was very much at fault.
I fell asleep in hugs of mine and others,
loves that the water extinguished in time.
I hid my past moments from my friends
because I was ashamed to lie again.
A sun comes out and looks at my face
but it doesn't burn me, the fire warms me.
What I loved I made mine,
the wind that blows does not make me cold.
A sun comes out to show me what I'm worth
but the pain doesn't bother me anymore.
I'm walking away because I think I'm starting
be me, maybe for the first time.
I walked on routes that others showed me
and I drowned a thousand times in the sea of the mind.
I got drunk on dreams and lay there in a daze
and the silence always woke me up somewhere else."

♫ Chagrin d'ami ♫
Effacer des souvenirs, longtemps souffrir,
Lointains soupirs

Ken is a German Pointer who lives the life of Riley at Bonsi a lovely estate in Tuscany. His owner is one of the sons of a great friend of my sister-in-law's.
The German Shorthaired Pointer is a breed of medium-sized pointing dog developed in nineteenth century Germany. It is energetic and powerful, with strong legs and great endurance. It is a versatile all-purpose gun dog suitable for hunting and retrieving on both land and water, with a strong drive to find and chase game. It may also be kept as a companion dog, though as a high-energy sporting dog, it requires significant amounts of exercise.
German Shorthaired Pointers have a short coat that comes in various combinations, generally a mix of liver and white. They have moderately long floppy ears set high on the head. Longer, broad, and strong, muzzles allow retrieval of heavier game. The dog's profile should be straight or strongly Roman nosed; any dished appearance to the profile is incorrect according to breed standards. Their eyes are generally brown, with darker ones being desirable; yellow or "bird of prey" eyes are a fault. The tail is commonly docked, although that is now prohibited in some countries. In competition, they are penalized if the tail is curved either up or down while the dog is moving. When the GSP is in classic point stance, the tail should be held straight out from the body, forming a line with the pointing head and body. Like all German pointers, GSPs have webbed feet, and are known for going after waterfowl in the water.
The German Shorthaired Pointer is a member of the Sporting Group] In 2016, CJ, a three-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, won the Best in Show award at the 140th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

The Tenuta i Bonsi, set in the magical landscape of the Tuscan hills of Reggello a few kilometers from Florence, for more than a century has been devoted to producing high quality olive oil and wine and the reception of guests who want to discover the rustic charm and elegance of this beautiful Tuscan farmhouse cum Castle.
The history of the village is full of interest, and has its roots in the 15th century. The historic home is also of great interest, beginning as a defensive Castle of a leading Florentine family and later became the "600 Balmaceda" a convent of Carmelite friars. Its current appearance is the work of the Florentine painter Raffaello Sorbi.
Today, the estate is owned and managed by the family Budini Gattai, who create products of high quality: ORGANIC extra virgin olive oil and red wine IGT.
Tenuta i Bonsi unites tradition with modernity, with particular attention to respect for the environment and renewable energy: thanks to the skilful use of scraps from the olive pit, heat can be provided by great alternative fuel pellets which can be purchased at the Guest House.

I know, this shot breaks the cardinal rule of dog photography - Never compose a shot with a tree growing out of the dog's head. But I just loved the happy expression on Jasper's face as we ran through the green space. An in my defense, this was shot blind as I ran with the camera dangling low (see the shadow) so I didn't really compose the shot, the composition just happened. Not my fault 😜
Normal faults offset the rocks visible in this road cut near the old community of Nugget in the Tunp Range west of Kemmerer, Lincoln County, Wyoming. The red beds on the right are calcareous mudstones which are part of the Upper Triassic Ankareh Formation. To the center and left of the photo, the purple to red beds of siltstone and sandstone also belong to the Upper Triassic Ankareh Formation. The tan interbeds on the left are indurated sandstone (quartzite). The tan to buff colored rock on the left above the red beds are the lower beds of the Triassic/Jurassic Nugget sandstone. Nearby these sandstone beds become massive, crossbedded, ridge-formers.

In this view of the Owl Creek Mountains taken just south of Thermopolis Wyoming, a BNSF freight train can be seen exiting the north portal (mouth) of the Canyon. At the mouth of the canyon the river changes names from the Wind River to the Bighorn River; two names, one river. The Wind River Canyon is about 2,500 feet deep at its deepest, 17 miles long, 200 to 3,000 feet wide and has a drop of about 300 feet from its head to the canyon mouth. In this southward looking view, the broad north limb of the Owl Creek Mountain asymmetrical faulted anticlinal structure is visible. The south flank (of the Owl Creek Mountains [not visible and around 17 miles south of this location] is structurally much more complicated geologically.

On the southwest corner of the San Joaquin Valley the Temblor Range and the San Emigdio Mountains which are part of the Transverse Range come together forming a rounded “wall” of cliffs and steep slopes. The San Andres fault system passes through this corner “wall”. Eroded Miocene(?) sandstone and conglomerate form cliffs along the Santiago Creek Drainage as part the “wall”. The San Andres fault runs in the drainage between the forested ridge and the barren ridge at the top of the photo. This photo was taken from the road that runs along the rim of the cliffs, Hudson Ranch Road in Los Padres National Forest. At this spot the road follows near the Kern-Ventura County Line. This photo was taken from Ventura County but the cliffs lie in Kern County. The name of the road can be a bit confusing. For years the road was known as Cerro Nordeste Road for the peak just to the south. A few years ago the road name was changed by Kern County to Hudson Ranch Road. The road was not named for one of the famous ranches named Hudson in California but at the request of a resident family.
This photograph is of the land near Palm Desert, California through which runs the San Andreas Fault. In taking this photograph, I was informed by a nearby sign that stated "San Andreas Fault," with an arrow pointing in the direction one sees in the image. I have been advised that the actual fault probably runs between the hills in the photograph's foreground, and the distant mountain range. For those interested, information regarding the San Andreas Fault will be found below.
The San Andreas Fault is a continental fault that extends roughly 750 mi through the Californias. It forms the tectonic boundary between the Pacific Plate and the North American Plate.
The fault was first identified in 1895 by Professor Andrew Lawson of UC Berkeley. In the wake of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, Lawson was tasked with deciphering the origin of the earthquake, and he concluded that it originated from this fault line.
Researchers believe that the San Andreas fault has reached a sufficient stress level for an earthquake of magnitude greater than 8.0 to occur in the foreseeable future, but exactly when the triggering will happen and when the earthquake will occur is, of course, unknown. Should an earthquake along the fault occur, it will result in massive damage throughout the state of California.

In life, sometimes we make stupid decisions that we just can't take back. Hurting ourselves and the people that mean the world to us in the process.
It may seem right at the moment but when it all sinks in and you realize the impact it has caused people, it's too late and it breaks you. The next thing you know, all you can do is just slowly sit in the corner, accept the pain and wish that you didn't actually do it.
Humans are complicated, separates us from the animals. But the complexity causes most of our downfalls too.
