Shot at night on a late walk...Didn't quite turn out the way I planned....but I kinda like it!

6/11/18 #2136. Plenty of Autumn leaves blowing around in the wind and on the ground now.

A one shot day today.

Taken about an hour before sunset with the light kissing the tops of the trees.

This swing is not comfortable in the least but Hadley always sits on it at least briefly each time we go to our 43 acres in the country. But the look of fall makes it more attractive. The fact that wild hogs have completely broken up the ground underneath is much less attractive… 314/365

Fall is art that renews us. The transition between life and death. It's progress and struggle and we are stronger for having witnessed its hardship and glory. Facebook | www.brianjarrellart.com

At Athabasca falls in Jasper National Park when the sun is setting and the angle is just right, a magnificent double rainbow can be seen suspended in this incredible waterfall.

Often it is the little things in a big scene that catch the eyes of a photographer. Like the small patch of light on a mass of fall leaves, while most of the scene is in shadow.
