Autumn is one of my favorite seasons and I really love seeing the leaves falling!
Is like everything is being renewed :)

Not quite on my game this morning, late out of the house, I saw the start of a decent sunrise and grabbed this from a nearby hill just in time to welcome the first fall morning. It's here the best season of all.
Not the best ever year for the fall colours (leaves are falling before even turning) but still lots of finery to enjoy on a windy autumn day!
everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn. ~Elizabeth Lawrence
the weather has been unbelievable here… been trying to get out and enjoy it while it lasts… hope yall are enjoying it also!

It took me a while to find a nice example of fall colors. As I've mentioned before, this fall has been a bit disappointing in that regard. You can see that this tree was damaged by last weekends blizzard.
Well Sunday morning, after not finding the color we wanted, we hit Eureka Springs, and then Danny had an idea to do to Beaver town. When you cross the wooden bridge here there is actually a sign that says you have crossed over into Nostagia. So I guess we finally hit paydirt, as this was the type of shot I had envisioned for my mystical fall color
Just had to do something with this little mini pumpkin because it had an interesting stem !! So, Happy Fall ! The sunflower is from my son's garden and I picked the pumpkin from thousands at the pumpkin field........well, almost, but I did select it from the Safeway bin......oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes ! LOL.
Fall is the best season in Ohio. We have everything here. Beautiful autumn color, apple cider, corn maze, Ohio State football spanking every team they play, and Canada Geese. In the early morning on the edge of Pine Lake the geese would fly in by the hundreds. You could here them coming a mile away. What a sight.
