As Winter is nowhere in sight here I'm sharing one from a month ago. Beautiful sunset was topped by the stunning fall colors of the birch trees. Amazing Indian summer!
Exploring close to home I was lucky enough to come across this scene a few minutes away from my house.
The fall colors are getting close to peak here in Fairbanks. I took a walk to get a few photos of the color.
Vermont Railway 307 leads the AAPRCO special through the mountains on a beautiful fall afternoon, I had to give the trout a break for an hour to grab a shot of this train!

The trees were so striking I stopped for a shot. I heard the dog barking but actually didn't see him until I processes the picture! Off HWY 36, Indiana.

HAPPY FALL 2017!!! It's the first day of fall and the color changes are coming. This image is a compilation of a couple of shots last fall. Not that colorful here yet.
In fact it is in the 90's again today! Yikes. With the lack of rainfall I fear our autumn may not be at it's best but I still can't wait for those fall colors!
Autumn seemed really short this year, as we've already had snow and bitter cold, but it sure was beautiful!
